About Tina Pic

We live in the southeast and used to work in Turks and Caicos 23 years ago when it consisted of a few dirt roads and restaurants. After years of traveling all over the world for our professions, we returned three years ago and fell in love with provo's beauty, accessibility, and offerings all over again. We are avid sports enthusiasts. On provo we can go windsurfing, sailing, and kitesurfing when the trade winds blow, and waterskiing, scuba diving, snorkeling, mountain and road biking when the winds calm. We returned late 2011 for the fourth time and found our own little piece of paradise. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!!

Tina Pic purchased this villa in 2012

Why Tina Pic chose Providenciales

The beautiful blue water and soft white sandy beaches are unmatched anywhere!!

What makes this villa unique

On low wind days, we kayak across silly creek through the drawbridge and around to the beach. it can be quite the adventure if there is a strong headwind!! We just got some stand up paddle boards and those are super fun. I sort of call it the sit down paddle board... less wind resistance!! We also love to waterski when the winds calm. Sometimes we take the ferry to North Caicos and ride our bikes to the other end of Middle and back. Windy days you will find us on Long Bay windsurfing or learning to Kiteboard (our newest adventure). We see fly fishing right in silly creek off the dock but we haven't had a chance to try it yet!!

Beautiful views

  • 4 of 5

This nice villa had beautiful views and was located 10 minutes to everything. I wish we would've had a small vacuum to clean with as we were there for a week. Also, there was no detergent or coffee but no big deal we just went to the supermarket and bought some.

Most Definitely A Five Star Property!!!

  • 5 of 5

We spent 7 nights at Bonefish Haven and loved everything about it. Tina & Chris were such a pleasure to rent from and very responsive to any questions.

Shelly, the property manager greeted us at the airport car rental area and followed the shuttle to Avis car rental where we pick up our car. We followed her a short 10-15 minute drive to the Villa. The minute you walk into the villa the view takes your breath away. The pool and the view looking over beautiful Silly Creek is amazing! The house was very clean and fully equipped with everything you need and more . We sat on the dock in the mornings drinking coffee and taking in the spectacular view! We loved the kayaks and SUP's! We loved Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Bay which is a half mile or so from the villa. We would recommend bring bug spray for sure, the mosquitos we're unbearable by any means but I wouldn't want to go without it. We would also highly recommend water shoes as it is a little slippery getting into the water.

Our favorite restaurant was Coco Bistro, this is not to be missed! The restaurant is located in the largest palm grove on the island of Providenciales. It's not only the most romantic restaurant but the food was incredible! We ate Las Brisisa's twice, it was wonderful both times!

Bella Luna was another favorite, outstanding Italian food. We ate at Hemmingway's and loved it, the view and the food! We would highly recommend going to the Fish Fry which they have every Thursday from 5:30-9:30 at The Bight Park. There are many food vendors, crafts, music and of course dancing! It's a great island experience! We ate our first conch and tried it throughout the week 4 different ways, cracked, jerked, pasta & ceviche. The ceviche was delicious!

We loved snorkeling at Coral Gardens and saw many large colorful fish. Somewhere Bar & Grill is right there so you can pick up a cold drink or lunch, both very good!

We also snorkeled at Smith's Bay but saw more at Coral Gardens.

Don't miss going out to Long Bay Beach and watch or take a lesson kiteboarding. We would also highly recommend taking the ferry ($50 pp) to North Caicos and rent a car and drive to Middle Caicos. The islands are very quiet but incredibly beautiful! Stop at Mudjin Bar & Grill on Middle Caicos and have a delicious lunch and walk up the cliff next to restaurant for the most incredible view. Don't go to Conch Bar Caves ($20. pp) unless you want to see a lot of bats!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

We booked Bonefish Haven as a get away for my 40th birthday. It was a great place to relax, away from the crowds at resorts. The property was exactly as described, complete with kayaks to venture out into Silly Creek. The owner Tina was very responsive to any questions we had, and provided some guidance to help us enjoy our trip. Shelly, our property manager was great! The pool was a nice retreat for the evenings. This was our second villa experience, with our first being in Grand Cayman. We definitely loved it, and would recommend.

Perfect and safe spot for a quiet gettaway!

  • 5 of 5

We only had 5 days to get away and celebrate 50th birthdays. Needed easy access for 2 couples from NB Canada. TCI flights were reasonable and allowed a full 5 days from noon Sunday to noon Friday in the house, with perfect size and features. Tina was easy to communicate with and patient as plans evolved and questions arose. We were met by awesome Shelly at the airport with a big smile and sign with my name on it! Great way to start a vacation. She helped us at car rental, (essential unless you want to spend a fair bit on taxis or stay put), led us to the house, showed us around the property, and answered all our questions via phone / text during our stay. One of very few stress free arrivals in a strange land in 20 years of travel. The house has lots of privacy as you can barely see a neighboring house through the trees. The lovely homes you see along the shoreline are quite a distance away. We enjoyed the changing tides in Silly Creek, which is very large and can be very shallow in places at low tide, with white sand bars out in front of the house. It's easy to walk or paddleboard and warm and shallow enough if you fall off! We had lots of laughs with paddleboards and kayaks, and enjoyed the sunset every night from the deck by the small pool or the private dock. The AC kept us cool on hot days and the breeze off Chalk Sound and the open ocean a ways down the road made it possible to enjoy a hot day on a secluded beach. We felt safe and relaxed, 15 min from the airport. We enjoyed the restaurant / bar at the end of Chalk Sound, Las Brisas, approx 5 km away. The most reasonable priced one we found on the island, great food with a beautiful pool and view of the sound. We arranged a boat tour from there and transportation back and forth to "our" house so we could hang out at the bar after the snorkeling and Iguana feeding expedition. The staff were fabulous. Minor negatives: Driving on the wrong side of the road is not for me. I'd vote for no car and cab or boat tours etc as needed next time. I'll research those options. (day three I was getting used to traffic circles backwards). The atmosphere is easy going. Tina and Shelly make everything available that you need and are very flexible. The TCI / Caribbean vibe may be an issue for some people. The water quit for a few hours one day, and the bugs chewed me (only me) alive in the evenings. A couple of inside doors didn't latch quite right. Who really cares in paradise?

We loved the house and that it was on the water.

  • 5 of 5

It was great to be on the water and have the ability to kayak right off the beach. The house was a perfect size for the three of us and we really liked the area. Great exercise just walking and running around the neighborhood. The water in the Chalk Sound is absolutely beautiful and the view from the house was simply amazing......I would absolutely stay there again.
