  • Enjoyed Sweet Escape Villa and TCI

"This was our first time to TCI. We've vacationed at to other places around the Caribbean so do have something to compare to. We did like TCI very much. The beaches are the best and many to choose from. Roads are in good shape and easy to get around. Provo also seemed to be relatively safe. In the past we've always stayed where we could walk to the beach so had some concerns with staying inland. However, being centrally located offered the option to explore different spots so each day was different. We agree with other compliments concerning the villa and responsiveness from Katherine and Josie. One thing to mention is Katherine's "30 Things to do on TCI". Just follow her instructions and you'll have a great vacation. Some of our highlights: * Bugaloos on Friday night * Rotary Park beach access - park and a cut through to Bay Bistro, walk the beach and use the foot bath. * Bay Bistro for dinner - a "must do" dinner at least for one evening. * Sharkbite for dinner - Kate's guide mentions that you may see a shark. Well, we didn't expect to see Jaws, but we did. Oh my! *Turks Kabab * Sapidilla Bay and beach. Water just seems to be warmer and calmer there. * Snorkel from shore at Coral Gardens and Smith's Reef. It's free! * Conch (and fish) Farm - very interesting. PS - maybe the time of the year, but had no problems with bugs/noseeums/mosquitoes at all."

  • You must stay here!

"We were thoroughly impressed by the Ocean View villa, and it completely made our stay on TCI perfect. The house fit all of our needs: it was clean; completely air conditioned, had ample space for our party (9 people); the pool and backyard was perfect for lounging, swimming, grilling and just staying out of the hot sun after the beach; the kitchen was fully stocked with tools, utensils and condiments; and all the linens and towels we needed for the week. I know the listing can't make guarantees, but we were surprised and happy to find beach chairs and snorkeling equipment for everyone - a HUGE plus, which saved us time and money renting these items. The TC Villas staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating - they were able to grant us early check in and late check out, because the rental wasn't turning over, and pointed us to the right places to swim, snorkel, shop for groceries and go out at night. The location is perfect, for a villa off of the beach (no rental on the water of this high quality for a large group was even remotely in our price range.) We rented cars, and this was a great way to get around, especially to explore Provo's secluded beaches. The best beaches for lounging and snorkeling are a few minutes away from the villa, and it is right near the supermarket. Most of the restaurants and bars are a few minutes drive away as well; but if you don't want to DD, it's just a short cab ride away from the villa. In short, you will not be disappointed with TC Villas and the Ocean View Villa. We will be back again, probably at the same place!"

  • Amazing view and great location

"My wife and I have rented a lot of villas on various islands in the past but Villa Poinciana is at the top of our list for all the right reasons. The views are stunning. The villa itself looks like it's sprouting out of the natural surroundings. The location is perfect for those that want to be away from it all but not too far from whatever activities one wishes to pursue. Colin, Rebecca and Jam were a pleasure to deal with. We would rent this villa again without hesitation. If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them. Email me at Happy travels!"

  • Wonderful relaxing stay, roomy home in a great location!

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Owl's Nest! The view of Chalk Sound is a beautiful sight to wake up to every morning just outside nearly every window, and having our own dock with lounge chairs was a great place to relax in the breeze after a full day in the sun. The house is light and airy, tons of windows everywhere which open to let in the cool breeze in the evening, and plenty of room for my husband and me and our three teenagers. We thought it was a much better choice than having to try to fit five grown people into a cramped 2-bedroom hotel room or small villa. There are so many places to spread out at Owl's Nest with the lower level kitchen/living area, lovely outdoor seating area, dock, upstairs bedrooms, living room, foyer and continuous porch/balcony around the house. Everything (kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, etc.) was very clean and well maintained, and the house was stocked with all the necessities for our week, plus a wide variety of games, puzzles and other items to entertain us in the late evening. The property manager, Tamara, was so personable and very responsive to our questions like how to run the TV/DVD. We liked the location because it is less than a 5-minute walk to Sopadilla Beach -- a beautiful, quiet beach which also offers jet skis, kayaks, and paddleboards through Tropical Waves TCI right on the beach. We found the location to be just the right mix of getting away from the busy touristy Grace Bay area while having enough to see and do nearby at Sopadilla Beach, Taylor Bay and not too far of a drive to some of the more stunning beaches at the Northwest end of the island like Malcolm's Beach. The Las Brisas restaurant was excellent and also only a few minutes walk from the house. A gas station just down the road offers all the basics you might need and the drive to the larger store is not far. The master bathroom was better than most in a resort! It has a wonderful waterfall shower and an impressive jacuzzi tub -- both were immaculately clean. It was also great to have a full size washer and dryer so that we could wash out towels and bathing suits after being in the saltwater and sand all day. We were extremely pleased with this house which felt like home for the week and would most certainly stay there again when we return to Turks!"
