Stay Steps from the Gulf Shores Sand – Cove 117A

The Cove 117A in the heart of Gulf Shores is perfect for a couples getaway. If you are looking for an economical way to spend a few days at the beach look no further. This low-density complex nestled in along the shores of Little Lagoon is only a short walk away from the shopping and dining downtown Gulf Shores has to offer. The kitchen is full equipped with everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. After you are full snuggle up next to your loved-one on the couch and watch a movie on the comfy sofa which also folds out to a queen size sofa sleeper.

In the bedroom you will find a cozy queen size bed as well as a flat screen television and a DVD player. The bathroom has a tiled walk-in shower. There are a washer and dryer in the condo and can sleep up to 4 people comfortably. Public beach access 2 blocks will allow you to get your toes in the sugar white sands the Alabama coast is known for.

This centrally located property offers charcoal grills at a first come first serve basis. There is an elevated community pool and a large sundeck to catch a tan. The balcony right outside your door allows you to keep up with all the happenings around you.

This is a non-smoking property. No pets are permitted. You must be 25 years of age or older to reserve this property. Parking is available for 1 vehicle. 2nd vehicle can park in gravel overflow lot. There is no elevator. Monthly rentals are allowed from October 1st- March 1st.

During the spring break season, between the dates of March 1 through April 30 of each year, the person booking the reservation must be 25 years of age or older and must be present to physically check in at our office with your government issued ID present.

Location was amazing. Great place for just 2 people. NO close beach access. They’re building a new complex and tore down the closest beach access. We had to drive to public beach which is annoying. There were no batteries in any remotes. Barely any hot water. Very little water pressure in shower. Was very clean and close to pier 33 (our favorite beach store) Probably won’t book here again.

Upon arrival, there were several areas that had not been cleaned, and was very obvious that the areas had not been cleaned for a long time. Some areas had just been wiped over. There was sand on the kitchen table, bedside tables and on the tile floors. The top of the refrigerator was nasty! The end tables in the sitting area had sand and crumbs on them. There were cans of paint and a bag of cement on top of the dryer. There were towels left in the washer. We drove all night to get there and couldn't check in until 4 p.m. just to find that it hadn't been properly cleaned. Definitely will not use again or recommend to anyone.

Good location and price but, dated and small

Overall, the property just needs updated and refreshed. The furniture is cloth and had some questionable stains that made me uncomfortable to sit on them. Our sheet has a pink stain on it and the kitchenware all add spots and some even had food stuck on it. I washed everything before I used it. The space is okay for two people, but if you have more, it's really tight. The distance to the beach though was great! There was public access right across the street.

Actually really enjoyed the unit. Details about what the unit has was very helpful.

The initial reserves on unit gave us the impression there was wifi/internet but upon arrival we found out there wasn't which was disappointing. Everything was well taken care of, clean and basic supplies. THANK YOU for helping us make this Better Late Than Never Honeymoon (over 19 years) well worth the trip:)
