We stayed for a long weekend (3 nights) and enjoyed ourselves very much. The unit is on the second floor and there is both an elevator and stairs. There is a great view of sunsets from the screened in porch. The unit was in fine shape and we didnt lack for anything except for some salt, pepper and coffee. No big deal because there is a starbucks you can walk to. The overall area of Captiva is still recovering from the effects from the hurricane but the building that the unit is in is fine. We would recommend this unit to anyone but especially to those who love being on the beach.
Listing stated there was access to a gym and beach toys. Unfortunately there was not. Shower door would not stay closed. Access to beach and pools were close. Served the purpose we intended it for.
Place was as described and shown. Condo was clean and neat. Laundry was easy to get to and do. Had all the needed beach stuff including a couple coolers and beach towels that we used. Incredibly convenient to beach. The pool was on the way back from the beach and we loved dipping into it on the way back. We would come back. Condo was clean and as
We found the property to accurately described by the host. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming. The amenities were well done. We would certainly entertain the thought of staying here once again in the future.
The property was as advertised and was a great value

The view and location are a 5 star. The unit is in terrible disrepair. For example, shower doors would not shut and would cause the floors to get wet and slippery, appliances work but are only partially useful; broken shelf in frig, broken dish rack in dishwasher, 5 out of 6 beach chairs were broken or in operable, kitchen cabinet drawers fell out if extended, missing 2 of 4 cushions on porch furniture, bedroom furniture in disrepair, china is mostly chipped or cracked, only one wine glass in the whole unit. Unfortunately, this unit is unsafe for small children or anyone with mobility issues. Having owned and rented in SSP for many years, and expecting the dated decor, I was shocked at the condition of this unit.
Unit is dated but clean and a great location. Walkable to the beach and to restaurants

We enjoyed our stay at Kim's unit. Unit was in great shape and very comfy. Enjoyed the beach chairs & umbrellas. Great virw of the gulf with great beaches and pool.Overall had a great time and would defonitely book again!
Pros ---great location, clean, well equipped, beautiful heated pool, beautiful beach, good value
Cons---second floor is actually up three flights elevator was not working, lots of reconstruction going on, interior dated but clean and functional, traffic on weekdays heavy with construction,
My family and I had such an amazing time relaxing on the beach and by the pool everyday! The property is in a gated community with private beaches! We were able to experience having the beautiful green/ blue water all to ourselves. The house had everything we needed for our stay even the items we forgot to bring with us from home. If you’ve ever enjoyed a sunset on the gulf coast and want to experience it each night, this is the spot for you. There was great communication with the owner and she made sure we were able to enjoy ourselves at her wonderful property!
Great location. Short walk to beach. Captiva beach the best. Forget Sanibel. Great shelling and clear water. 3 minute walk from condo.
Condo was clean with everything needed. Comfortable king bed.
The AC new and quiet! Several great pools to use.
There was construction going on at South Sea re hurricane fixes. WE where at beach all day so not bothered.
Kim was great at communicating.

beautiful view and location but....
The location was great and the view and sunsets were amazing. The condo was very dark with large dark furniture. The bed was so uncomfortable we had to sleep in the single beds. We had trouble with the tv and internet and the owner was getting frustrated with us and she was not very helpful. One phone call would have been great to explain it to us. Linens in closet were stained and not pleasant to look at. The iron was broken and the ironing board had no cover. I feel like a few good upgrades and the place would be great.

Beautiful location but not disability friendly
The unit was well stocked yet dated decor. The listing stated an onsite hot tube however there are none on the South Seas property. The listing also stated elevator access with a note that it “cannot be guaranteed” due to it being mechanical however the elevator was completely shut down and under construction. It was very difficult for my elderly, disabled father to navigate the two flights of stairs. Also, we were not on the list or left wristbands to have access to the two other pools on the South Seas property. The unit is in a beautiful location with stunning sunsets!

Yes it is clearly stated I don’t guarantee elevators. Sorry they did not see that originally nor did they read about amenities you DO not get wristbands it does say that the resort charges more than double if you want that amenity but it is not stated you get those and as far as “hot tub” listing does not state that. She just have seen it on another listing she was looking at
