About this property

Destin Getaway with Amazing Pool & Restaurant

The Palms of Destin is one of the newest, and nicest resorts in Destin. Built in 2007, The Palms has wonderful amenities. There is an 11,000 square foot zero entry lagoon pool with waterfalls... truly a tropical paradise!
There is also a smaller heated pool, large hot tub, children's pool with mushroom waterfall and splash pad. Plenty of palm trees and a covered gazebo if you need to get out of the sun.
There is an exercise room, tennis and basketball courts, children's play area and plenty of covered parking. Our 7th floor condo has a fully equipped kitchen with granite
counter tops. We provide a coffee maker, toaster, blender, utensils, and anything else you may need. The living room has a pull out queen
sofa sleeper, flat screen T.V., BLURAY/DVD player and sliding door to the balcony. The dining room has a table that seats four as well as a bar that seats three. The master bedroom has a king size bed, flat screen T.V. and sliding door to the balcony. The master bathroom has a tub/shower combination and granite counter tops. The second bedroom has a twin trundle bed (great for kids) a flat screen T.V. and a private bath with tiled shower. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit. From the balcony you have beautiful views of the city, sunsets and a slight ocean view.

The Palms is in a great location...close to everything. Tons of restaurants, shopping and don't forget about the beach. It is a short walk to Henderson Beach, or you can drive over and park for the day for $6. The Palms provides a shuttle from March 1-October 31 to the beach, as well as other local hot spots. This is free for registered quests. If you prefer to drive, there is plenty of parking, and the beach is very clean and uncrowded. There are covered picnic tables, grills, and restrooms.

We are sorry, but there are no pets or smoking allowed.

The Palms of Destin is a wonderful place for a family vacation or a couple's getaway. We know you will love it as much as we do!

Great condo, wonderful pool!

The condo was really cute and the perfect size. The balcony direction allowed us to see the fireworks from our room. The pool was great! We ended up going to the Henderson state park beach and it BEAUTIFUL!! The owner was great and checked in to make sure we were settled. Overall it was a fantastic stay and a wonderful super clean condo.

Weekend at Destin

The Condo facilities are great and in good location. Owner allowed to use installations before and after time of check in/out. Also as time was available we get to use condo a few extra hours that we enjoyed a lot. Definitely will come back

Beautiful, clean, great condo!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Palms. The condo was gorgeous, decorated beautifully, clean, and the perfect size for our family. The view off of the balcony is gorgeous -- we could actually see a good chunk of the ocean! My son had so much fun at the pool, it is HUGE! The condo seemed to be so close to everything. Other than the traffic, everything was situated very close. We had a great stay!

Absolutely Amazing!!

Charlsie was the PERFECT host!! We booked her property last minute, and she took my phone call the evening that I booked to assure me we were good to go. Her condo has everything you need (coffee maker & Keurig, pots, pans, wine glasses, mugs, plenty of towels, beach chairs, pool floats, extra blankets, everything). The resort is amazing! Our boys loved the pool! We had dinner a couple of nights from the restaurant onsite. The food was delicious & very reasonably priced. Highly recommend renting this property!

Great property and and even better property manager. Property manager's communication was on point and the condo was perfect for what my family of 4 needed. If I had to find one negative it would be that we couldn't connect to the internet in the condo but I didn't care as I was on vacation and didnt need it in the first place. I will definitely come back!

A Wonderful Stay

Check-In Process was super easy. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable, clean, everything worked properly! Resort had friendly staff, great pool and bistro downstairs. We ate there several times throughout the trip and every time it was delicious. We made a trip to the coffee house almost every day, perfect start to the day. Palms of Destin has a shuttle that hopped us right over to the beach access. Public beach access was kind of small so get there early to get a good spot. Or you can rent some chairs/umbrella set up from the guys in front of The Back Porch Restaurant which is close by. We opted to do that the last day and it was well worth it. Would definitely come back to this unit to stay again!

‘Life begins here’

‘Life begins here’ is what my 7 year old said to me after seeing the huge pool :). The property was perfect to accommodate the family, the pool was the highlight of the trip for my 7 and 1 year old. The pool is great for young ones as they can start in the shallow, walk-in end. There is also a splash pad and a baby pool as well which my toddler loved. The beach is beautiful and within a quick driving distance (white sand and emerald waters), and the owner was a top-notch communicator. Very friendly and personable. If I had to do it over, I would definitely choose this condo and The Palms at Destin again. No regrets on this choice!

Fabulous unit and location!

Spacious condo perfect for accommodating a family of 4. Walking distance (or free shuttle) to the beach and close to tons of shopping and dining. Nice balcony, great resort pool area and playground. Well finished and functional. Hosts were great!

As far as the owner and property it was excellent,beautiful condo and great communication from owners. The online pictures made it seem a lil bigger than it was but compared to everything else no big deal. Our only issue was everytime we tried to eat out it was a 2-4 hour wait to eat. Even at fast food restaurants we waited an hour in line to eat. The beautiful restaurant at the condo itself wasn't open just the bar outside. Apparently this was an issue all across destin. Started asking why all the long waits and come to find out they can't get people to come back to work because they are getting paid more $ to sit at home and collect unemployment. Other than that we had a great time thanks Charlsie Roach.

Perfection

We had an amazing stay at the Palms of Destin. The unit was immaculate and the amenities far surpassed our expectations. We have a 2 and 4 year old and while we thought the 2 year old would be able to stay on the trundle bed in the 2nd bedroom, ( would have been too perfect,) we realized our 4 year old wakes up much earlier so we moved his pack and play into the bathroom attached to the 2nd bedroom. It has a vent and was so spacious he had plenty of room. The washer dryer is a huge plays when staying at the beach with constant swimsuit and towel changes. The master king bed was soooo comfortable...better than mine at home. Views and location were pristine. The kids begged to go to the pool over the beach everyday so we spent a ton of time at the pool. Great shady areas, not crowded at all, and the little bar and grill on site had wonderful food and was reasonably priced. Would DEFINITELY stay here again and have already recommended to friends and family with small kids who can’t handle super Long Beach days. We drove to the beach and it was also uncrowded and a 4 minute drive. Best post covid vacation we could have asked for. Thanks again for everything and all the recommendations Charlsie!!!

Why they chose this property

Our family went to Destin for the first time in June of 2011. We stayed at the Palms of Destin and fell in love! The pool area is so awesome, we never wanted to leave. We loved everything about Destin and the Palms. We found a Realtor and started working on purchasing a unit right away. We found our piece of paradise in unit 2704 in September, 2011. Our only complaint is we live too far away to come down as often as we would like, so we have chosen to rent our unit so others may enjoy it when we can't.
