KITCHEN COMPLETELY RENOVATED 2018! STAINLESS APPLIANCES INCLUDING DISHWASHER, QUARTZ COUNTERTOPS, GLASS TILE BACKSPLASH, AND BEADBOARD CABINETRY! We purchased this condo in 2012 and have renovated almost everything in the condo! It sleeps up to 4 (2 adults plus 2 children - age 12 or under). We want your family to be comfortable, so we have HEAVENLY BED KING MATTRESS AND BOX SPRINGS, queen sofa sleeper, oversized chair, NEW bar height patio table and chairs, Biltmore luxury linens, beach towels, dinnerware with embossed shells, new rugs, new light fixtures including ceiling fans, new lamps and COMPLETELY RENOVATED BATHROOM. The bathroom has a new tile shower with pebble flooring, pebble accents, new tile floors, and granite countertops. The unit has been freshly painted throughout! Sapphire Beach Resort has 5 Buildings that are on the beach--A,B,C,D and E. My husband and I have stayed in every building, and the thing we love about the E building is that it offers spectacular views of the turquoise blue water as well as direct views of St John and the British Virgin Islands. It is also more private than some of the other buildings, as several of the buildings are on the busier 'main' beach. Here, you can enjoy the activities on the main beach and then come back to the privacy of your condo when you are ready to chill. One of my favorite things about being in the E building is watching the twinkling lights on St John at night...absolutely magical!

What makes Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina so special? It is located directly on one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. You are literally steps from the beach with an amazing coral reef and great snorkeling! We have tried many other places, but none had as pretty a beach, the great breezes, or such great snorkeling right outside our door. With the marina at the resort and the ferry from Red Hood close by, it is perfect for island hopping to St John or the British Virgin Islands. Enjoy tropical drinks and a burger or mahi sandwich at the Sapphire Beach Bar & Grille located on the beach. The dive shop on site rents snorkeling equipment and kayaks. The views of St John and the British Virgin Islands are simply spectacular! If you want to have a spacious, comfortable suite with an incredible view right on a stunningly beautiful beach, this is it!
All of the first and second floor units at Sapphire Beach Resort are Studio suites, while the third and fourth floors are the two-story Villa units. We feel some of the advantages that the second floor units have compared to the first floor units are better views and more privacy.
We love the snorkeling here! We regularly see turtles and rays in the grass bed in the middle of Sapphire Beach, and the reef on both sides and around the point is breathtakingl! It is quite a show of purple fans, yellow corals, and beautiful fish! I have even seen a spotted eagle ray here! We can give you some great recommendations for snorkeling spots on St John and in the BVIs as well.
There are many great restaurants throughout St Thomas and St John, and we have listed some of our favorites in the welcome emails we send.

We fell in love with Sapphire Beach Resort the first time we stepped onto the white sands in 2004. We have visited many resorts throughout the US and British Virgin Islands, but Sapphire has always been our favorite. It was our dream to own a place here!
What makes this Condo unique
We love being able to snorkel every day right outside of the condo, hanging out in a lounge chair on the beach, and being able to see the turquoise water from every vantage point in the room! We love going over to St John on the car ferry (only a mile down the road) and snorkeling different places there. We love exploring the British Virgin Islands, too! The Baths are a must see! There are many great snorkeling spots in the British Virgin Islands as well.

My boyfriend and I were staying march,30-April, 3 at sapphire E-206. Thanks to Phil and Angela who provided all the necessary additional info about rentals,food,beaches,ferry etc. That was very helpful. The unit was unbelievably beautiful!!!best views,steps to the beach,brand new kitchen and bathroom,very clean unit , towels, beachchairs, floats,cooler. So u don't have to worry about anything. Best location,5 min away from bars and restaurants

Sea Glass at Sapphire is a fantastic property to rent
We enjoyed our stay and found the owners to be quick to respond and found the property to be beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Reservation procedures were easy and straightforward and everything was as described and owners are accessible to answer questions. The pool is very close to the condo and the beach is a short stroll from the condo. We found everything about this vacation to be excellent !! This condo provides the comforts of home in all ways - a lovely king size bed, comfortable chairs inside and out and a new kitchen with new appliances, and a lovely seascape theme in decorating. Definitely a place to return to when visiting St. Thomas. Thanks for sharing this lovely spot with us. We stayed March 6th to Mar. 20th, 2018.

Three for three!
Have recently returned from our 3rd annual stay at Sea Glass (Sapphire Beach Resort - E206), and once again everything was perfect! Owners Phil and Angela are a pleasure to work with - very communicative and responsive. You will find the unit to be exactly as described by P&A in the listing. The refurbished kitchen - I believe we were the first to use it - is a great upgrade with new dishwasher and micro/convection oven. Fridge may be new as well. Mid-stay cleaning occurred as agreed, and was completely unobtrusive. Unit fully equipped including beach chairs (for excursions away from Sapphire), cooler, floats, cable TV, internet, all kitchen wares and the list goes on. The "high top" table and chairs on the deck are perfect for taking in the views of Totrtola and St. John. Note regarding hurricane recovery: the folks at Sapphire Beach have done a FANTASTIC job of cleaning up, landscaping, and fixing/replacing anything that needs it. The Sapphire Beach Bar is up and running with live music a few days a week and a food menu with burgers and dogs. We had no "hurricane issues" whatsoever during our stay. Stores are stocked, most restaurants open, all beaches OK for swimming. That said, many parts of the island are still in recovery and not as far along as other parts. Please pack your empathy and patience! Best finish this review so we can get busy booking our stay at Sea Glass next year. Thanks Phil and Angela!
The property was very nice & met all of our expectations.
This was my husband’s & my first trip to St. Thomas. The Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina was quite nice, as was our condo unit. Hearing the ocean waves crash on the beach when falling asleep every night was awesome ~ so relaxing! We would definitely recommend Phil & Angela ~ great hosts!
Great condo on the beach just feet from the water
Phil was great to work with setting up the reservation. Great, clear communication with all details. Loved the condo. You cannot beat the view! One night the power went out in the building for about an hour, which turned in to the perfect opportunity to go out onto the spacious balcony and just listen to the ocean. The property was the perfect place to stay with Red Hook and a convenient car barge to St. John just down the road. The condo was clean and well supplied. Having a kitchen to use was great. The resort was quiet but had a bit of jackhammering going on near the marina due to construction. There's also security at the front gate that monitors vehicles and people coming and going. Besides the beaches and snorkeling, one of the fun aspects was driving on the left on steep grades and potholed roads. Definitely a different vibe compared to the Hawaiian islands. Again, the view from the condo's balcony will always be burned into memory.
We are so happy that you loved our piece of paradise! Driving is definitely an adventure! 😄�😄�. We love that view also...never gets old!!! We would love to have you again!

Additional information about rental rates
Standard rental agreement contract must be executed within 5 days of booking request. 50% of rental fees must be received within 5 days of booking request. Refundable $250 security/damage deposit must be received within 5 days of booking request. Balance of rental fees (other 50%) due 45 days prior to arrival at property. Payments are accepted via direct deposit, personal check, Cashier's check, certified bank check, money order, wire transfer, or PayPal transaction. 10% VI Taxes must be applied to all bookings. End-of-Stay Cleaning Fee is based on # of guests and must be applied to all bookings. End-of-Stay Cleaning Fee is $110 when 1-2 guests occupy the unit. End-of-Stay Cleaning Fee is $155 when 3-4 guests occupy the unit. Extra Guest Fee of $10 per person per night will be applied for Guest #3 and Guest #4. Maid Services and mid-stay cleanings (with towel & linen change service) are available for an additional fee of $50. Credit Card payments are accepted by utilizing a PayPal transaction.
