This unit is a professionally renovated one bedroom condo on the first floor at Sapphire Beach. Walk out onto the sand through the wall to wall glass doors from the living space of the unit - the view is incredible. We are located next to the pool, facing the ocean, and adjacent to a stone jetty/peninsula which has great snorkeling. This unit and the general location is great for honeymoons, romantic getaways, fun in the sun, and pure relaxation. Two minutes away is Red Hook - there you can find ferries to St John, endless restaurants, and night dancing....

We are basically set up for couples, but can accommodate up to 4 people.

Car rentals and airport pickups can be arranged at an added cost. If you need a car we have a Kia Forte available to rent for your stay. Driving is on the left - be prepared for some new, self taught, occasionally nerve racking driving lessons if it's your first time - but be aware - if you are planning to get around a lot, driving is less expensive than taxis.

There are a lot of nice places to rent around St Thomas, but Sapphire has the best beach, the best general location, and this unit is the best available !!!

Amazing place, amazing views, amazing time!!!!

We enjoyed every minute of this rental. The owner was more then helpful with recommendations or anything else we could need. The location is perfect, 2 minutes from Red Hook and on the beach, just minutes from everything else, cabs were typically waiting up by the entrance. Everything was as advertised, beautiful views, pool and beach just a few steps away. Place is very clean and well stocked. Only bad part of the trip was when we had to leave. We will 100% be going back next year.

We've been to St Thomas numerous times, and this trip was one of our absolute favorites. The location of the suite was just perfect, close to all amenities and the ferry to St. John. I would recommend this vacation destination to anyone and everyone. We're definitely going back again !

Beautiful unit, awesome view!

This is a relatively fresh renovation unit. The complex is a little run down, but this unit is very nice. The convenience of being able to walk out of your unit right onto the sand is fantastic, and the view is spectacular. You can see St Johns every day, and the British Virgin Islands in the background. It is located close to Red Hook, which has many dining options (we had pizza at Island Time Pub - which was fantastic, with a great view, and we had Italian at Pisano's which was very good.) It is also conveniently located near the ferry that takes you to St. Johns, and elsewhere. St. Johns is only $7 each way, and goes every hour on the hour. We spent a few days exploring St Johns, as it was so convenient to get to. There is also a taxi area on the grounds of the association. The majority of the time there were taxi's waiting there, or only a short wait until one arrived. And we went during the "off" season - the week of Memorial Day. I would definitely recommend the unit, and the Islands are a hidden jewel in the Caribbean.

The owner offers a vehicle for rental - we didn't take him up on the offer. In retrospect, it may have been a good idea. The taxi's are always available, but run $10 (with tip) each way for two people to get into Red Hook, and get more expensive the further you go. If you intend to explore the island, definitely take them up on the Car. You cannot really walk into Red Hook. I am a runner, and the issue isn't distance. The issue is the streets are narrow, lots of curves (you become hidden to the drivers until last second) and there are NO sidewalks here. A dirt trail runs a portion of the distance to Red Hook, but it is very narrow, and doesn't avoid all the curves and blind spots. If you don't have a car, you will need to take taxi's.

We have been coming here since 2005 nothing has changed literally

We have stayed in buildings d&e on the ground level since 2005 in many of the units I can't think of a place on st Thomas where you can walk a few yards and be in the water and on top of that have breathtaking view this unit d103 is very modern inside and one of the nicest well presented units that we have stayed in the only issue I have with this unit is there isn't much breeze when not on the beach we spend all of our time on the porch the first couple of visits to this property we did all of the touristy stuff now the only time we leave the property is to go to the grocery

The parking lot and the buildings by the pool are still horrible but they always have been the owners of the condos have no control of that we can stay most anywhere we want but always come back to sapphire

WHY because it is outstanding and one the most gorgeous views in the islands!!!!!!!!

Fantastic setting. Breathtaking. Resort is "tired."

If someone were to bring this resort back up to its original glory, it would be one of the top destinations in the world. Nevertheless, the incredible beauty of the setting more than compensates. Had a lovely time!

Great location and nice unit

I am a fellow owner at Sapphire and rented this unit for my mother. It was a perfect place for her to stay and all was perfect. The location by the pool is amazing and we enjoyed some nice times on the porch with the amazing view. Will not hesitate renting again in the future.
