Secluded Cabin at Kern River Sequoia Campground (Cabin 19)
Summary:
This cozy cabin/tiny home sleeps six with a queen-sized Master bed, a sofa bed that converts to a double, and twin bunk beds. Enjoy AC, walk in showers (no tub), heating, a kitchenette, kitchen table, two flat-screen TVs, and WiFi. The campground is located on the Kern River—perfect for rafting, fishing, swimming, and tubing! Just a short drive to the Sequoia National Forest (NOT PARK) for hiking and sightseeing. SORRY NO PETS.
The Space:
We have six cabins situated along our park. The surrounding area is shade-covered by large beautiful tree's and views of the scenic Kern River. Stroll down and enjoy all the activities the river has to offer. River Front Beach Cabana Rentals are now available to book in advance. Limited spots! Contact our office for availability.
Guest Access:
Each cabin has private access to a fire ring, charcoal bbq grill, and a picnic table. You will also have access to the Kern River, dog park and a volleyball area. You are also welcome to our boulder park for a family picnic! The office store is fully stocked with snacks, firewood, ice, and essentials. Complementary WiFi is limited to one user at a time but is available for upgrade. During the summer, we offer a weekly activity schedule.
The Neighborhood:
We are located 5 min from downtown Kernville where you can find a number of delicious restaurants. "The Pizza Barn" will even deliver right to your campsite. Kern River Brewery is within walking distance as well for a cold beer after the river. There are quaint shops and a local history museum as well. Our site sits at the gateway of Sequoia National Forest. The magnificent Trail of a Hundred Giants is just an hour away where you can see the breathtaking redwoods.
Getting Around:
Everything you need is within a 5 min drive. If you'd rather walk, it will only take 10-15 min to reach town. There is a shuttle service and Uber's available as needed.
Other Things to Note:
Please note that these are all non-smoking cabin. Smoking of any kind inside the cabins is prohibited, but we do have outdoor smoke spaces. You are allowed a maximum of 6 guests. We have both pet friendly cabins as well as cabins that are animal-free and allergy friendly.
