Welcome to our charming treehouse retreat overlooking a creek and a working lavender farm. This treehouse offers a unique blend of charm, modern comfort, and lots of wildlife.

The treehouse features a cozy interior with panoramic views, a king-sized bed, a spacious deck, heated floors, fiber internet, and more.

Ideal for a romantic getaway or retreat, our treehouse promises a memorable stay amidst the beauty of nature. We look forward to welcoming you! Please note there is a 5% charge for cancellations/refunds to cover those pesky credit card fees.

This place was the perfect getaway for our family! Our kiddos loved the loft and we had plenty of room for our family of 4 and our fur baby. We enjoyed the property and are excited to come again when the lavender is in full bloom! Strongly recommend this Treehouse!!

A perfect place to relax and unplug for a few days. The treehouse was cozy, thoughtfully designed, and just perfect for a winter getaway. Will definitely be back in spring or summer to see the farm when the lavender is in bloom.

This was a great place for a couples get-away! Very peaceful and cozy! Beautiful, remote setting perfect for relaxing, but still close enough to restaurants and activities. Highly recommend!

Great Setting

Modern, peaceful setting with amenities including views, secluded patio overlooking treelined creek. Just the right distance from the heart of Iowa City and University of Iowa.

Winter relaxation

We stayed in the winter and had one small issue arise. The owners were prompt with communications and the issue was quickly resolved. We were there with the plan to relax for a weekend. It was perfect for what we needed and would love to visit while the lavender fields are in bloom.

Amazing

We truly loved our stay at Calyx Creek Lavender farm. I have nothing but good things to say. The tree house was new, nicely furnished with everything we needed and great layout. The owner (Taylor) was great and super nice, the staff were nice as well and accommodating and we loved the drinks they made. The location was perfect. 15min to North Liberty that had some really great restaurants. 15 min to Amana and 20 min to Iowa city. Perfect if you are staying for a graduation or just want to relax at the farm. Definitely will be back! Thank you!

My husband and I booked this stay for our anniversary. It was absolutely perfect! The treehouse was well stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had everything (other than wine glasses) but they did have a wine bottle opener! The cute little extra touches like bottled waters and popcorn were so lovely! The bed may very well be the most comfortable Vrbo bed I've ever slept in! The property is surreal. Beautiful fields of lavender, nature all around! We enjoyed the walking path and all of the wild life we spotted on the property! The location is perfect! It's far enough away from the city to relax but a quick drive to plenty of activities. We visited the Amana Colonies, North Liberty and Coralville during our stay. We will definitely be back!

Amazing getaway spot close to Iowa City

Stayed here with family of four. It was amazing. The attention to detail was top-notch. From the heated floors, to the heated towel rack, to the auto defrosting mirror, to the kitchen essentials. Everything was well thought out. Could have easily cut corners and just put in a regular microwave but instead there’s a microwave, oven, air fryer combo. Two burner induction stove top. Fancy coffee maker that does more than just coffee. Cool electric fireplace. Cool location. There was nothing to complain about. I can’t imagine how people gave this a four-star rating, especially when they had nothing but good things to say. Will definitely look to stay here again in the future, when we come up for Iowa football and other campus events.
