Penns Creek Fly-Fishing, Location de chalet, Woodward, Penn State

La cabine a Ă©tĂ© entiĂšrement rĂ©novĂ©e en 2014 et se trouve juste sur l'historique Penns Creek. Penns Creek est connue pour sa trappe Ă  drake vert, sa pĂȘche Ă  la mouche et sa truite. La cabine est Ă  deux Ă©tages avec 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain complĂštes. Il y a un patio extĂ©rieur avec coupe-feu. Il y a un abri d'auto et une remise pour les ordures ainsi qu'une cuisine entiĂšrement rĂ©novĂ©e avec de nouveaux appareils. La cabine est Ă  une courte distance en voiture de Penn State University, Woodward camp / cave, Penns Cave, Bucknell University, Susquehanna University et Susquhanna River. Il y a de nombreuses attractions dans la rĂ©gion, y compris la cave Shade Mountain ainsi que les vignobles et la cave Fero Ă  Lewisburg. Il s'agit d'une cabine familiale et non d'une maison de fĂȘte. Si vous souhaitez vous dĂ©tendre et profiter de quelques verres, les fĂȘtes bruyantes et turbulentes ne seront pas tolĂ©rĂ©es. Great place to stay for a Penn State football game. About 50 min outside State College, but much more affordable than staying in town. House is plenty big enough for 6 or more people.Only complaint was that one of the showers had a slanted ceiling so anyone over 5'8" cannot use it.

We were in the area for a wedding so we didn’t spend much time here. However, it met all the requirements - clean, well stocked, newer appliances, clean bathrooms and nice showers. It has a beautiful screened porch. Very convenient to local wedding venues.

This house was everything we needed and more. Very spacious, clean, beds were very comfortable. The reason for our stay was for my daughter's wedding and the convenience and comfort being able to come back to the house in between the busy line of events leading up to the big day, to just relax and rest up was perfect. Having family there for dinner was very enjoyable for everyone....plenty of space for the kids to run and play outside and adults sitting around a fire by the water was enjoyed by all. The only semi-negative but yet comical was the shower heads (height) fit for short people lol...worked out for some of us but we managed. Nice water pressure and temp!Frank was very responsive and accommodating with all of our questions and needs so we thank you for everything!

Family vacation

House was perfect for my family, great location and had everything we needed. Kids loved fishing even though they didn’t catch anything but sticks lol. Will definitely be back.

Great place for a fly fishing trip

Had a great fly fishing trip with a few friends and sons. Great location!! Caught native browns, rainbows and a few Fallfish. Highly recommend!!

Nice cabin by the creek

We enjoyed our stay here. Beds were comfortable, plenty of space, and fire pit. Could use some new sheets and towels. Also, coffee would be nice especially since it's 20 minutes to nearest food.

Cozy quiet Cabin getaway

We stayed here this past weekend. We were attending our nephew's wedding at a nearby venue and used this as our "home" base for the weekend. It was a lovely home with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, kitchen, etc. (We loved the humorous cabin signs/decor in the living room.) It is located in a wooded area, so there were a few insects like bees and we saw an ant or two, but nothing major and its expected in the woods. The cabin was clean, well stocked with essentials, and even had a selection of toys and games you can utilize. We wish we had more time to actually be there and enjoy the screened-in back porch and patio area along the creek. If you are going to have time outdoors and enjoy the creek/wildlife you won't be disappointed. (I missed it, but my husband spotted a fox outside and some of our other family staying with us saw quite a few deer in the yard also.) My daughter had to walk into the creek also, even if it was just for a few minutes. Would recommend staying here if you are looking for cozy comfort in a clean cabin in a quiet spot.

Drag races

We rented the cottage to visit the local drag races. The house was clean and a beautiful location. I also suggest Boomerangs for food, yum.

My name is Franklin Reber. My wife Theresa and our children Derek and Brittany have spent all our lives enjoying the beauty and recreation of Penn's Creek. We purchased this property as a home away from home. I was a Construction contractor for 28 years. I hold a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University as well as a Masters in Education. I am currently employed as an Instructor at Pennsylvania College of Technology. My wife Theresa has been a licensed beautician for more than 30 years. My son and daughter are both Penn State Graduates as well. Our daughter is now teaching in Phoenix Arizona and has a Masters degree in education. Our son works through Career Link to help youth from several school districts find future careers.

We had been looking for an affordable property on Penn's Creek for more than 20 years. There is nothing more relaxing than sitting along the creek and listening and watching both the wildlife and water. My son and I have fished Penn's Creek since we were both old enough to walk. My entire family canoed these same waters over that span as well as hiking to the tunnels.
