This cabin has a lot to offer for a group of friends or a family! Lots of things to do in in the surrounding areas.
Come enjoy our cozy cabin on 11 private acres with nearby private access with parking to Penns Creek, a world-renowned trout and smallmouth stream. The cabin is very private, which is ideal for long, peaceful, walks and bike rides. You can appreciate stunning sunset views of the surrounding mountains. Relax while taking in the views and sounds of the beautiful Penns Creek. You may see a bald eagle, herons, ducks, geese, deer, bear and all the little pa creatures as well. Expect all forms of wildlife. If you’re lucky you might catch a glimpse of the otters and mink that travel through the area. There is a generous yard perfect for kids and pets. Private fire pits in the back yard and by the creek. Private access to the creek for fishing, launching kayaks/canoes, playing in the water, or just relaxing. Fish and kayak to your heart's content, or take your ATVs and dirt bikes to the miles of trails that are nearby.
You will have complete access to the entire house. The barn and workshops will be locked.

Married in 2005 and lives 20 miles from the property. Owners of Rough Cut Lodge in Gaines, PA since 2015. We are hoping to share this property allowing others to enjoy what we do.... Nature, Privacy, Fun and Family.
Why they chose this property
We love fishing this area and enjoying the state game lands for hunting. We enjoy kayaking and canoeing on Penns Creek in the spring and fall. During the winter months we love riding snowmobiles and sledriding. This property allows for all of our outdoor loves. ATVs are so much fun. You may enjoy them on our property or on local public roads approved for ATV riding.
