North Austin Civic Association vacation rentals

This house is so comfortable and bright and in a pleasant residential neighborhood. We visited for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen with good quality pots and pans, a nice assortment of tools and equipment. Nobody goes to Austin to cook, but any Foodie would be happy cooking in this kitchen (we were!). There were plenty of dishes and glassware as well as serving and storage pieces. When we were hanging around the house we practically lived in the back yard patio and felt like it doubled the size of the house! There are a lot of seating options depending on the weather and for those who like sun or those who prefer shade.Instructions provided were very clear for every function around the house, from door entry, laundry, dishwasher, TV, temperature, extra linens, etc. Nothing was missed. Beds were super comfortable and the house was impeccably clean. A nice touch was the body wash, shampoo, conditioner found in each bathroom. The master bath has a great shower!The hosts were immediately responsive to any requests we had. A new ironing board arrived almost instantly and even a new grill when the existing one wouldn't function properly! Thank you so much - we will book this house again next time we're in Austin.

We rented this house for 6 weeks to help our daughter and son-in-law with their first baby and it worked out perfectly. The house is well appointed in a quiet neighborhood with lovely living spaces, bedrooms, and a nice back yard. We had ages 10 months to 73 years old including the other grandparents from India for 3 weeks, and all were comfortable. In the cool of April we had morning coffee/tea out back on the patio, and enjoyed hearing the birds. We did puzzles in the living room on the coffee table, but there anre two TV’s, too. We walked to get kolaches and lattes some mornings without crossing any busy streets. The kitchen is very cookable, but there are great restaurants nearby also. The beds are all comfortable and the master is very roomy. There are side tables, dressers and sizeable closets in all 3 bedrooms. Nathan is very responsive, though we rarely needed anything. We would totally stay here again.

Hands down the best VRBO I've ever rented. The pix are all accurate and the property itself is fantastic for a larger family or a group of friends. Perfect for bridal/bachelor parties, reunions, or just getting together for long weekend. The property itself sits on several acres in a quiet neighborhood, but is private thanks to a tall fence, which also makes for a safe environment for your four-legged fur babies. The house is tastefully furnished and has all the modern conveniences. To top it all off, the hosts are 5-star great. I'd rent this again in a nanosecond if we decide to come back to Austin again!

Host was awesome about everything. Willing to work with us and very quick/responsive. Firewood, fresh grilling propane, clean house, etc. Lots of rooms and beds so people didn't have to double up at all. Pool table was fun. Pool was a good time but cold (it is clearly stated that it isn't heated). We still spent time in it. Outdoor TV and seating area was perfect for relaxing after a long day out on the town or on the golf course.

The house is modern, spacious and designed ideally for our family of 6 with grandparents, parents, and two preschool boys. The master bedroom and bath are on one side of the house and the other 3 bedrooms and bathroom are on the opposite side which allowed privacy for both families. From the bathrobes and slippers in the master bath to the brownies and welcome card, the owners go the extra mile to make their guests feel welcome. The kitchen is very well equipped. The skillets and pans are in good condition, plenty of dishes, glasses, and utensiles. There is also a blender, hand mixer and crockpot. The bedrooms have plenty of storage and beds were comfortable. The fenced backyard was a big hit with the preschool boys who enjoyed kicking a soccer ball for hours. There were also books, puzzles, and some toys for kids. Communication before and during our visit was excellent and responsive. The house is well located in north Austin near all the expressways so it's 15-20 minutes to downtown. The Domain shops and restaurants are 10 minutes away.There are several restaurants and coffeehouses within walking distance and a neighborhood park with a playground. We enjoyed 6 weeks here and would definitely return if we get the chance to have all 3 generations together again.
