About The Owner

My husband and I were both born and raised in the area. My husband is self-employed and I work part-time in an orthopedic office. We have a son, daughter, three grandchildren, and a border collie. We both enjoy the outdoors and this area has so much to offer with The Virginia Creeper Trail, Barter Theatre and many great restaurants.

Why The Owner chose Blue Ridge Highlands

My husband built the cabin over a three year period, initially as a guest house on our property. In 2011, we began renting it out and it has been a great experience. We love the area and feel it has so much to offer our guests.

What makes this cabin unique

Virginia Creeper Trail, Barter Theatre, Heartwood Artisan Museum, antiques, Bristol Motor Speedway, hiking.

Beautiful!

Beautiful setting, beautiful cabin, and beautifully appointed. We had a great weekend in the cabin. The place was exceptionally well designed and decorated. Immaculately clean and every convenience is there. We can't wait to stay again. Phyllis and David couldn't have been more gracious or more helpful.

The very well-maintained rustic Fairview cabin was perfect for my husband and I. The cabin had so much charm and in a perfect location. The scenery was gorgeous and relaxing. The owners were so nice that it makes me miss that southern hospitality. We will stay there again and I cannot wait to plan our next time to visit again.
