Our 2nd time staying here. It was wonderful and we hope to be back!! Location os perfect. Accomodations are very comfortable and everything we needed was there!

The Carriage House is a beautiful and magical place. It is a great location… we could walk everywhere. The attention to detail that the host put into the house was over the top. Vases of fresh cut flowers everywhere, local coffee by the coffee maker, beautiful soft sheets and towels. We especially enjoyed the patio and the beautiful yard.

This was such a lovely place!! So cozy and inviting. The perfect location for walking everywhere downtown. The garden was amazing, even so early in the spring, and the bed was super comfortable! And there is nothing like the sound of a train rolling through. We loved every second of it!

Charming cottage for graduation

This place was a perfect place to gather with friends and family for graduation. Close to campus and many local resturants in walking distance.

We had a fabulous stay at the Carriage House. We stayed upstairs and our friends stayed downstairs. It was a beautiful house, decorated nicely with everything you would need/want for a 5 day stay. The gardens were stunning. We walked to all the restaurants, shopped downtown. Biked on the VA creeper trail. Fantastic weekend!!

Fantastic Location!

A fantastic location in Abingdon! Walking distance to several great places to eat. The property is great and grounds are beautiful. Right in the historic heart of Abingdon and well worth the visit.

Relaxing weekend

We stayed the weekend with friends. We ate out, went to the Barter and rode our bikes on the Creeper trail - all without ever getting in our cars! It was the perfect place to stay for the perfect weekend!

The Carriage House is darling. And the grounds and gardens are beautiful. The attention to detail is simply amazing and we will be back! The property owners are super helpful and wonderfully nice.

We had the most delightful stay at the Carriage House! The beautifully appointed cottage was everything we had hoped it woud be and more! The location was fantastic, the beds were incredibly comfortable, the house was immaculate and there was plenty of space to spread out. Gourmet coffee was provided and there was even a bottle of champagne and chilled glasses in the fridge. We stayed in December and the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We look forward to staying here again and will recommend it to our friends!

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Carriage House. The owner was very accommodating and very quick to answer any questions we had.. The home was very nice, clean and cute. There was even a woodland Christmas tree that was so cute. The location was perfect and easily walkable to all the restaurants, stores and theater. We would not hesitate to stay with this host again.

Just perfect!

Loved the whole vibe! Authentic feel, artsy but natural decorating taste, live flowers inside and natural plants outside, best location for walking downtown and to Virginia creeper trail! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Carriage House is an Oasis

Girls weekend - was perfect stay! Everything we needed in this beautifully restored carriage house! The house and yard were so cozy and inviting and the owners were very friendly and accommodating! We had a magical time and definitely will book again!
