Cute carriage house in downtown Abingdon with a beautiful garden out back to sit and relax at end of the day. Easy walking to most attractions and restaurants on Main street. Can very easily get to Virginia Creeper trail. Like most small towns there is activity with a firehouse around the corner but not too terribly disruptive.

The Carriage House is a beautiful and magical place. It is a great location… we could walk everywhere. The attention to detail that the host put into the house was over the top. Vases of fresh cut flowers everywhere, local coffee by the coffee maker, beautiful soft sheets and towels. We especially enjoyed the patio and the beautiful yard.

This was such a lovely place!! So cozy and inviting. The perfect location for walking everywhere downtown. The garden was amazing, even so early in the spring, and the bed was super comfortable! And there is nothing like the sound of a train rolling through. We loved every second of it!

We had a fabulous stay at the Carriage House. We stayed upstairs and our friends stayed downstairs. It was a beautiful house, decorated nicely with everything you would need/want for a 5 day stay. The gardens were stunning. We walked to all the restaurants, shopped downtown. Biked on the VA creeper trail. Fantastic weekend!!

Just perfect!

Loved the whole vibe! Authentic feel, artsy but natural decorating taste, live flowers inside and natural plants outside, best location for walking downtown and to Virginia creeper trail! Wish we could have stayed longer!
