Tranquil blue-green water surround you at this gorgeous beach on the east end of St. Thomas. Views of St. John, the British Virgin Islands and surrounding cays are unparalled. Listen to the sound of the surf from this beachfront condo. Wake up and have your coffee with your toes in the sand! Take a few steps and go for your morning swim. Spend the day windsurfing, snorkeling, kayaking, swimming or reading a book. Play volleyball, play catch with the kids or fly a kite. Walk back to your fully furnished condo to make yourself a drink and lunch or go to the Banana Cabana Grill a few steps away from this unit in building C and get a burger, etc. At night take a 5 minute ride to Redhook for a dinner out, or get some groceries and make dinner and eat ocean front. Relax and enjoy. Spend quality time with your mate, friends or children. If you want to explore, there are lots of things to see and do on St. Thomas, Coral World for an underwater without getting wet experience, Tram ride to Paradise Point for spectacular sunsets and entertainment, world famous shopping in downtown Charlotte-Amalie or a day sail on a yacht or a scuba diving lesson. There is a marina on the property and you can walk to your boating excursion first thing in the morning (book it first ofcourse!)

About The Owner

I have been coming to Sapphire Beach for over 25 years now! I moved to St. Thomas when I graduated from college and took my first windsurfing lesson here. I worked for engineering and surveying companies on the island for 8 years, spending my weekends windurfing, diving, sailing and exploring other islands. I never grow tired of the beautiful blue-green water or the spectacular weather. I am married now and have twin sons that are 12 now and I have been bringing them back to the islands with my me since they were 2. The beach is a great place for kids, and being beachfront is perfect for little ones, no balconies to fall off! Walk to the pool and beach and back for a nap while mom sunbathes or reads, etc. When the kids get older, teach them to snorkel and sail. There is always something new to learn and do. A day trip to St. John is a favorite, put your car/jeep on the ferrry and drive to Cinnamon Bay in the National Park.

Why The Owner chose East End

My husband and I came here several times before we had the kids and had a fantastic time windsurfing. The best sailing in the world is here and you can launch right from Sapphire Beach. Now that we have the kids, its been a great place to bring them, the water is so beautiful to swim in.

What makes this condo unique

There are always other families here and the kids always meet someone at the pool or at the volleyball net to play with. There is also a dive shop and marina here so you can rent equipment or plan excursions. If you don't rent a car, you can always get a taxi to the store or restaurant/

The property is an excellent location snorkeling right out the door.

Location, Location, Location! The condo is pretty bare-bones but an excellent location. Patio is right on the sand. Great snorkeling a few yards away. A few burners on the stove were broken, not many dishes or silverware. Not important to us because we ate out a lot. We had to pay $25 to replace the towels after three days? We had an absolutely wonderful vacation.

The property was very convenient to the beach and was more than adequate for a week visit.

We could walk out the patio door and head for the beach. The room was comfortable and felt comfortable. We loved our visit and enjoyed the time away. Thanks!

Visiting our son in VI

Nice location, being on the beach is great. The size if fine for two people. The kitchen needs attention. Only one burner on the stove worked, found towards the end two we not plugged in.

The pots and pans all need replacement. Teflon badly pealed on cookware, most are unusable. Three forks, not enough, we had my son and his partner over for dinner.

When renovations are going on at a resort, (dive shop and rental equipment) it should be noted. The plywood wall at the pool and the rundown adjacent building are an eyesore for such a beautiful place.

Good potential, the dated resort is showing signs of aging.

condo and location were perfect. to us there was no better location. we had a patio to the beach. 3 minute taxi to red hook, and 10 min to st. john. PERFECT LOCATION.

WOW and WOW

We already knew that we loved Sapphire Beach (AMAZING snorkeling & shade on beach & marina on site for outstanding fishing charters), but we didn't know how much we'd love this unit. It's a wonderful condo: clean and well supplied with the most amazing location at Sapphire. We will definitely return to this very place because it is just perfect on so many levels. The owner is wonderfully responsive and helpful. Just a wonderful place.
