La casa (y el apartamento) es nueva (construida en 2012).

El apartamento tiene un alto nivel, suelos de parquet, cocina totalmente equipada, 2 neveras, estufa, lavavajillas, etc.

Fantastic location and quiet.

We loved our time here. The apartment highlight was being able to work sitting out on the balcony overlooking the quiet courtyard.

From booking to check out the stay was perfect. Location can’t be beat. Close to the train. Easy to walk everywhere lots of great shops for coffee all around.

Berlin Break

We had a great time in this property. It was clean, quiet and in a great location. The coffee shop up the road and the restaurant nearby were all nice. Meet and greet was good and we got some really useful information.

Great, but quiet, location, comfortable and well-equipped. Would stay here again.

Well located less than 5 mins walk from the Spittlemarkt metro stop on the U2 line, with a good coffee shop on the way. Modern, well equipped and spacious apartment, beautifully clean and very quiet. Definitely recommended and would stay here again on a future visit.

Justin and his family were very pleasent guests. It was interesting to talk with them. The communcation was excellent. They left the apartment tidy and clean. I can warmly recommend them as guests and would be happy to host them again.

Great break in Berlin

Our family of four adults stayed a few days and found the place a fantastic location. We were only a 10-15 walk from Checkpoint Charlie where we could easily pick up the tourist buses. A lovely spacious, clean, well laid out apartment, with local eating places and supermarkets. We would readily stay here again.

Nice apartment in an excellent location

My wife and a friend stayed for a few nights in our first ever visit to Berlin to enjoy the Christmas markets. The apartment was perfect for us and is an excellent location right next to a U-bahn stop that makes the entire city easily accessible. I would highly recommend the property if you want to stay in the city center of Berlin.

Perfect location

Traveled with spouse and two grown sons, 25 and 28. We loved this place. Everything was newly updated and the location could not have been better. The owner met us at the apartment and gave us an overall an quick tour and asked if we had any questions. We used only public transportation and it was the perfect location. Definite YES.

Great location, quality accomodation

The property location is excellent with easy access to public transport and walking distance to most key city centre Berlin highlights. Nearby restaurants and supermarket. Quiet, safe area. The apartment itself is very spacious, lovely parquet flooring and comfortable for our family (2 adults 2 teens). Great water pressure in shower and all appliances needed provided. Very helpful on check-in and made us feel welcomed. Highly recommend

Central Berlin

The apartment was large and spacious and we loved the two balconies. Host was very responsive, and we appreciated the storage of our luggage. The only suggestions would be black out blinds in the bedroom and perhaps a mattress topper to make the bed more comfortable for our liking. The apartment was central and we walked everywhere. Great Italian restaurant at the end of the street.

Great central location to see Berlin

This property is ideally located for all the essential Berlin sightseeing and well connected to the transit to reach pretty much anywhere else you might want to go. Communicating with the host was thorough and easy and they were flexible with our arrival schedule which was a huge plus. The only critique we might have is that the listing says laundry is close by but no real pointers to where and we had to find one ourselves (WASH BOX 15min walk) but not sure there is one closer. Kitchen was well appointed and had all the basics. Make sure you turn the fridge upto 7 to get it cold. Overall a great stay.

Great location/ Beautiful apartment

We made an error in our travel dates to Berlin and the owner graciously allowed us to check in a night early! We were so thankful it was available! The apartment is in a nice location with two coffee shops nearby as well as a nearby grocery and several restaurants. The only disappointing feature is the listing mentioned "coin operated" laundry and "dryer" in its description which led us to believe there was laundry onsite or in the unit itself. But we had to find a laundry mat our first morning. Otherwise the apartment was perfect and communication was great!

Lots of room for our family of 4

This was a very nice apartment. The patios off the livingroom and primary bedroom are fantastic! The only complaint we have is it was very warm temperature wise so we needed to sleep with the windows open. Due to that we got very bit up by mosquitos. The last night we had to shut all the windows due to the bug bites so it was very warm inside. This was probably unusual since it was so warm the whole week we were there. Apt has everything you need. It is very, very nice!

Location, Location, Location

This is a roomy beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment that is in a nice residential neighborhood close to many sites. On one corner you will find breakfast baked goods at the Sandwich Bar. Turn left and you have Berlin Pizza which beat many pies we had in Venice. Come out the door and turn left and you have the short walk to the U Bahn Spittelmarkt. A short diostance further is a great German Restrauant called Ephraims. A little further are all the Museums of Museum Island. I strongly recommend a Musem Pass. A 3 day pass is only $35 a single entry is 12 euros I would strongly recommend this apartment. The elevator was a final nice touch for dog tired legs at the end of the day

Unexpected guests

Communication with the VRBO manager was great and helpful - thank you Max. The check-in process with the owner was effortless. The apartment is in a great location where we could walk everywhere. It was spacious and had basic items required, other than no extra pillows or blanket if cold, etc. Unfortunately, the very first night our son was visited by unexpected guests-bed bugs!!! Fortunately it was only an issue in one bedroom not both. We tried calling and texting the owner the following morning, leaving a message of our circumstance without any communication until we tried calling again late afternoon. The owner’s response was not friendly, helpful nor apologetic and told us we would have to find new accommodation in a hotel nearby, asking us of proof that our son had been bitten by bedbugs and proof that we were staying in the area and not leaving. Fortunately, we had a video and photos of our unexpected nocturnal guests. It took us some time to find accommodation due to a soccer championship being held in Berlin, but found refuge at the last accommodation at the Mandrian Suites, who were sympathetic to our cause and even gave us a discount.Our VRBO rental fees were reversed automatically other than service charges, which we need to claim through VRBO. If it hadn’t been for the bed bugs and the owner’s lack of remorse and assistance we would have rated the apartment 5 stars.

Comfortable apartment

The apartment is just as said in the webpage. 20-30 minutes walking from most important places in Berlin, near an underground station, quiet and nice neighbourhood... It's really comfortable and includes all equipment you need for cooking. It's perfect for a group of four people. Recommendable!

The flat was perfect for our needs. It was probably the most well stocked of any unit we've stayed in. Very clean. Great area. Central to many Berlin sites and 6 minutes from nearest BVG (subway) station.Host was extremely communicative and helpful with recommendations.

Tolle Lage, großzügige Wohnung, hell und gemütlich

Das Appartement liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend, aber zentral und in perfekter Gehdistanz zu den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die nächste U-Bahnstation ist drei Minuten entfernt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ausreichend vorhanden.Die Schlafräume (Betten sehr bequem!) haben Fenster zum großen Innenhof, Wohn/Esszimmer ist straßenseitig (ruhig) gelegen.Die Einrichtung ist modern, in gepflegtem Zustand und die Räume sind großzügig geschnitten. Für den persönlichen Bedarf war alles vorhanden, der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Mögliche Verbesserung: Kosmetikeimer in den Bädern wären praktisch!Eine kleine Anmerkung aber: In der Kaffeemaschine waren noch der benutzte Filter und Kaffeereste in der Kanne vom Vormieter übrig. Trotzdem eine klare Empfehlung!

Vielen Dank für die Bewertung, Sie waren ebensfalls sehr angenehme Gäste. Die Kaffeereste bitten wir zu entschuldigen - wie schon bei der Übergabe gesagt, hatten wir etwas erhöhten Aufwand nach dem Mieterwechsel. Zu den Kosmetikeimern: Diese hatten wir vor längerer Zeit aus hygienischen Gründen entsorgt. Vielleicht fällt uns da noch etwas ein. Ansonsten vielen Dank für den Besuch und jederzeit wieder!
