Don't rent a hotel room when you can have a spacious 1BR/2BA Villa on the popular East End of St. Thomas. Amazing views to more than 9 islands. 24ft of sliding glass doors open up to a balcony with comfy couches and dining height table so you can eat indoor or outdoors.

Completely remodeled kitchen and baths with plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the space for the 2 of you. SmartTV in the living room allows you to watch the cable channels or stream your own subscriptions. Upgraded WIFI with a battery backup in case you have to check in with work while on vacation.

King size bed in the bedroom with a memory foam gel topper so you have a relaxing night sleep. Blocking curtains and a door to the bedroom allow you to sleep in if you like.

There is so much to explore on St. Thomas and even our sister island, St. John. Hiking trails, ruins, snorkeling with turtles, swimming with dolphins, deep sea fishing, parasailing, day sails, sunset sails, charter a boat to spend the day on the water, learn to scuba/certified divers try out our great spots including wreck diving and diving for lobster. Other Things To Note:

We always recommend a rental car for your vacation. Our island is meant to be explored!

Occasionally the island electric company WAPA will have an issue with their service and you may experience an unexpeceted power outage; sometimes this is island-wide and sometimes it only affects certain areas, but it has nothing to do with the resort or our villa, so unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this. Should this happen, you'll also temporarily lose running water (which also means no toilet flushing), but there should be bottles of water under the bathroom sink to pour in the tank if needed. Should you experience a power outage, the restaurants on Point Pleasant have independant generators and so does the lobby so they will be open, but its a perfect opportunity to unplug and go to the beach or explore different places on the island. Most locals are used to this, but I truly understand this is not the norm for everyone else - hopefully you can roll with it and look around at the beautiful views and appreciate the beauty along with the quirks of Island Life!

Beautiful condo with a beautiful view

My husband and I stayed in Mermaid’s Escape for 15 nights. The space is comfortable and exactly as expected based on the listing and pictures. The balcony is spacious and the view was gorgeous! The king size bed and pillows were all very comfortable. The dining table provided plenty of space for us to set up laptops and work as needed. The hosts were very easy to work with and checked in on us a few times during our stay. I highly recommend and we would stay here again.

Incredible St Thomas View

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mermaid Escape. Waking up every morning to an incredible view. The condo is super clean and we found the location to be excellent, near beaches in the Red Hook area and very close to the St John ferry’s. Greg is a very conscientious host and replies quickly with any questions. We will return!

We loved staying in this unit at Point Pleasant. Communication with the renter was easy, quick responses. Very clean. Security monitoring who enters and goes. Fabulous view. Great pool. Only lost power once for a couple hours (thanks WAPA lol) but it didn’t get hot in the unit which was great!!! 10000/10 recommend staying here. Thank you Xaverie and Daniel! We will be back soon

We went for our 30 wedding anniversary. We had so many plans until we saw "the view". It was breathtaking and we did not want to waste it. We wanted to be there as much as possible and reconnect. We would eat at fine restaurants; only to bring most of the food back to the balcony of the villa. It was such a tranquil place and we plan on returning! 45th Anniversary

We have been to St Thomas several times since our Honeymoon there in 1977. This property is one of the finest we have booked. The views are amazing and the owners are terrific. Very clean and everything you need is there. I would highly recommend!

Everything about out stay was amazing. The owners went obove and beyond to make us feel at home. The house is awsome. The pattio and the views are amazing. Wonderful Get Away!

My husband and I spent a week at Mermaid Escape at Pt. Pleasant. We were celebrating the 40th anniversary of our first date and had spent our honeymoon at the resort. This condo had everything we needed for a low key vaca in a wam climate. The kitchen was outfitted perfectly for preparing meals. The only thing that I would recommend for the host to add to the condo is an iron and ironing board. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
