The Angler is tucked into the woods .5 miles from McCurdy boat ramp at Enid Lake, 2 miles to I55 and 40 minutes to Oxford- the perfect location!
Our 3-bedroom cabin is THE spot to enjoy both lake life and take advantage of the peaceful surroundings of Mother Nature. The cozy space features 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and 2 twin beds in the coolest loft space, perfect for a family or group getaway. With amenities like Wifi, a wraparound porch, board games or cards in the cool AC , guests can relax and unwind after a day on the lake! Grab a book on the porch or Adirondack chairs while enjoying the serenity The Angler aims to strive for you.

We loved the cabin. It was a great place for us to stay while hunting the long weekend. Its remote without being too far out. Such a nice trip thank you for everything!

We stayed at The Angler for 5 nights while on a fishing trip to the area lakes. This cabin was perfect for us! We brought our boat and the covered storage with electric outlets was wonderful. The setting is very private and the porch that wraps all the way around the home made an excellent place for morning coffee. This location is perfectly, centrally located if you plan to visit Sardis and Grenada lakes along with Enid Lake. There is a great boat ramp with a courtesy dock right down the road and even a store in between the cabin and the ramp to grab ice, snacks, and even minnows. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The host is super responsive and we had no issues at all during our stay.

Just Right for Us

My friend and I stayed for three nights, and the accommodations had everything we needed. We were able to do our touring of the area during the days and then use one of the grills for preparing dinners after returning. Extermely peaceful location. It was great to sit on the wrap around porch under the ceiling fan and just talk while taking in all of the night sounds of nature in the woods. A very relaxing place to unwind.

A tranquil getaway

As a new parent, I really needed a vacation, but oftentimes I find myself needing a vacation from vacation because of all the preparing, packing, coming, and going and such. This stay was just the opposite. I felt so rested after spending just a weekend here. The hosts are incredibly welcoming as well and obviously have put a lot of work into making their guests feel at home. This is the most charming cabin. The beds are extremely comfortable. The wrap around porch was so relaxing to sit on and read. Everything was just so clean and fresh. I recommend a stay at this place to anyone who needs a break or is staying in this area for another reason. I can’t wait to book it again!
