The Pine: Private Hot Tub Off the Bedroom + Sauna

The Pine is a small cabin in the Tennessee woods made for the kind of weekend where your phone stays face down. Sleeps up to 4 (king bed + queen sleeper sofa). Step out of the bedroom, and you`re already on the deck, fire pit going, hot tub waiting. Plus full access to the sauna, cold plunge, pickleball court, and outdoor kitchen on the property. One hour from Nashville, 15 minutes from Cookeville, 10 minutes from Cummins Falls. Pet-friendly.

The Pine is the outdoor cabin at The Hideout Hotel — 450 square feet of locally sourced decor with the kind of cozy that makes you forget what time it is. Wake up slow, drink the coffee, sit on the deck. The whole point of this cabin is that there`s nothing you have to do.

The deck is the centerpiece — wood-burning fire pit, private hot tub, and outdoor seating overlooking the trees, all directly accessible from the bedroom. Inside: king bed, queen sleeper sofa, record player, two smart TVs, and a full kitchen setup. Two-burner electric stovetop, ice machine, microwave, dishwasher, blender, and a coffee machine with our house Hideout blend.

Some weekends are for couples. Some are for two friends who haven`t actually caught up in months. Some are for a small family. The Pine works for all of them — a king bed in the bedroom, a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, sleeps up to 4 comfortably without anyone feeling like they got the worst spot. Bring the dog. There`s a $75 pet fee and a dedicated dog run on-site.

Before arrival, you`ll receive a four-digit access code for the smart lock. The property is gated, with full-time staff on-site daily and 24/7 support if anything comes up.

You`re 15 minutes from downtown Cookeville for restaurants, breweries, and boutiques. Under 10 minutes to Cummins Falls State Park. About 20 minutes to Burgess Falls — both home to some of Tennessee`s best waterfall hikes. We send personalized recommendations before your stay so you don`t have to do the planning.

Gravel driveway with parking for up to 3 vehicles. If you`re pulling a boat or a camper, please reach out in advance.

PETS: $75 per pet. Only pets disclosed at booking are allowed. Please keep them with you and under control at all times — they shouldn`t roam the property unattended.

SMOKING: No smoking inside the unit. Evidence of smoking results in a $250 fine.

CHECK-IN: Standard check-in is 4 PM. Early check-in at 2 PM is available for $50 when the schedule allows. Bag drop-offs can sometimes be accommodated — just ask.

CHECK-OUT: Standard check-out is 10 AM. Late check-out until 12 PM is available for $50.

PROPERTY CARE: Please treat the space with care. Excessive cleaning needs or damage may incur additional fees. Guests are responsible for damage caused during their stay.

HOUSE RULES: Following our rules keeps the experience great for everyone. If a violation results in a refund or discount for a future guest, the responsible guest may be charged for those costs.

PET POLICY: We love pets and welcome them for a $100 fee per pet. Please ensure that only authorized pets accompany you and keep your pets under control at all times. For everyone`s safety, pets should not roam freely without a human companion.

NO SMOKING INSIDE: We kindly ask you to refrain from smoking inside the cabin. If we find evidence of smoking, a $250 fine will apply.

CHECK-IN: You’ll receive your check-in instructions before your stay. Our standard check-in time is 4 PM, but if you’d like to start your getaway a bit earlier, we offer early check-in at 2 PM for an additional $50. We can also accommodate bag drop-offs when available.

CHECK-OUT: Our standard check-out time is 10 AM. We also offer late check-out at 12 PM for an additional $50. No chores are required before you leave—just relax and enjoy your stay until it`s time to go.

EXCESSIVELY DIRTY UNITS: We ask that you treat the property with care. If the property is left in a significantly worse condition than usual, an extra cleaning fee may apply. Remember, you are responsible for any damages.
