Villa Nicobar is a stunning ultra luxury villa located in the exclusive Galley Bay Heights Antigua. The villa has uninterrupted views of the sea and beach. The villa has 4 double rooms and one single sleeping 9 and extends over 7,500 sq/ft. The most luxurious products have been used, sourced throughout Europe by an international interior designer. The villa has a spectacular open plan sitting/dining room leading out to a spacious veranda with a 10 seat teak table for al- fresco eating. The large terrace, jacuzzi and infinity pool are located beyond allowing the most amazing views of the Caribbean Sea and The Great Room is fitted with a flat screen TV/ SAT system and a BOSE sound system which is wired to the terrace also. The eight seat maple dining table ingeniously flips over to become a snooker table with a deep Caribbean blue baize. All bedrooms are en-suite with walk in rain showers and have their own veranda. Chef on request.

Please note in high season (Nov- April : July Aug) 7 day bookings need to start on a Saturday.

Fantastic family villa

We had a great stay at Nicobar. For our extended family group with a baby it made an excellent base on Antigua. The view is always fabulous and the pool and outside areas where we spent all our time were very comfortable. There are some walkable beaches and Deep Bay was a quick drive. We were well looked after with three cleans during the week and the property owner is responsive. A great stay and good value.

The Villa was spacious and allowed for privacy for both adults and children. The pool and hot tub were ideal with lots of beach toys. The view was fabulous and the location was close to several beaches. The property manager was very helpful and supportive. We enjoyed our stay.

Location, location, location!

Very nice house. Well appointed. Beautiful view! Lovely staff. When the sanitary landfill was burning garbage (nightly when we were there) and the wind is from the right direction, the haze and odor of smoke is overwhelming. Even with a car be prepared for at least a 20-30 minute drive to the grocery store, restaurants, and many beaches and activities.

The nearest grocery supermarket is at Perry Bay which is 4 miles away and a 10 min drive. Sorry to hear about the landfill. In 18 years this has only happened twice.

"We enjoyed a wonderful week at Villa Nicobar with its spectacular views over Deep Bay and luxurious accommodation. The living space and outside terrace/pool would give most 5 star hotels a run for their money and it is ideally located with easy access to St Johns and the rest of the island. Merle the housekeeper was really helpful and made our stay extra special. Our only complaint was that a week wasn't really enough!" Richard & Family April 2014

The views from the veranda are breathtakingly beautiful! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and found the layout of the house to be very comfortable for our group. It was a nice stay. The only recommendation is that the overall description of the property is outdated and contains some information that is no longer accurate (for instance, the fruit garden that no longer exists).

Fabulous villa with stunning view and well appointed

We stayed over Christmas with our family and enjoyed the home. It was incredibly spacious and comfortable, excellent outdoor lounging area, well appointed kitchen and baths, comfortable beds. The pool and hot tub were good. The housekeeper was very helpful and responsive as we needed things (the hot tub kept cooling off), but she got someone to the house to fix it.

Our 'Leftover Antigua' Trip

Overall our group was very happy with our stay. The location and views are stunning from this house. Our host Merle was extremely helpful around the house. There were several things that need to be updated and maintained but these were small things that did not take away our overall impression of this property. As a group we all agreed that if things work out in the near future we would love to stay here again!!

Stunning villa, amazing views

We stayed at Villa Nicobar for 11 nights and had the most amazing holiday. We've been to the island a few times before and wanted to explore a different part of the island. Nothing is too far away in Antigua when you have a car though. Villa was beautiful, great welcome, car was there when we arrived (id highly advise to use tropical cars and get it dropped off at the villa). The villa may need a bit of updating but generally its great and if any issues, Michael is on hand to fix or help. Deep Bay beach may be the best beach on the island in my view and is only 5 mins away in the car, its the beach you can see in the pictures. All round great villa and Nigel was always on hand to answer emails etc. Id highly recommend and I'm sure we'll be back.

Loved this villa

The views from this property never get old! The house was immaculate, thanks to the lovely Merle, the housekeeper, and suited the needs of my husband and I and four adult children perfectly. We most appreciated the large outdoor living space, much of which is covered and gave us shelter from the numerous, but quick, showers that came through each day. The pool and jacuzzi were lovely. Although we took day trips to explore some of the island, we all felt as though we could have spent all our time at the villa and been perfectly content.

Unfortunately, this stay fell well below expectations due to multiple unresolved maintenance issues and how they were handled by the host.Several amenities did not function properly. The internet was very poor and unreliable on the main floor and did not work at all on the lower level, which was never disclosed. The hot tub did not work, and there were basic maintenance issues, including a broken sink plug, that were never fixed. These concerns were raised during our stay, but responses were often delayed and dismissive, and at times the information provided did not align with what we experienced.On the morning of checkout, cleaners arrived before checkout time and entered the property to begin cleaning while we were still in the home. One of the cleaners walked in on a family member while he was changing, which was a serious privacy violation and completely unacceptable. Cleaning while guests are still in the property when checkout was only a few hours away, was unnecessary. The cleaner stated she was instructed to start cleaning due to incoming guests.Rather than acknowledging these concerns, the host minimized the issues and repeatedly stated that he had never heard these complaints before.The property itself has potential, but poor maintenance, lack of transparency, dismissive communication significantly impacted our experience. We would not recommend.

I could do a full Basil Faulty on these guests but I will refrain. Did not start well when booking for 7 they turned up with 9. The first issue not mentioned was an emergency call out on Sunday for no hot water. Cause guest turning tap wrong way!! The only real issue was unfortunately the jacuzzi heat pump failed the week before they arrived. Unfortunately no replacement was available on Antigua. I immediately ordered the part from the US and paid to have it air freighted. Unfortunately it did not clear customs in time to be fitted for them. The jacuzzi did however work but just no heat. I did check with ACT the internet provider who reported normal service which the guests were told. I suspect if all 9 guest were downloading at the same time it will slow down. The villa comes with a housekeeper that cleans every other day. Strangely no complaint about this till leaving day. Joan arrived at 9.30 am as usual and then waited downstairs until guest had finished breakfast and started to clean kitchen. Really struggling why that was an issue However before writing the review the guests asked for a big discount so I will let you reach your own conclusion on the review. Regards Basil!

Fabulous New Year stay

Nicobar is a beautiful villa with stunning views, absolutely perfect for a very chilled family holiday with teenagers. Easy walk down through the Galley Bay estate to a very quiet resort beach (Galley Bay). Views are not done justice by photos, and setting on the hillside meant that there was a cooling breeze even at the hottest part of the day. Amazing services provided by the infamous Merle, who welcomed us like family. All amenities provided within the villa were as described, exceptionally clean and in good working order. Very helpful and friendly communications with owner prior to our trip. Would recommend highly.

Cannot recommend Villa Nicobar enough. Antigua is just paradise but to stay there in Nigel’s villa was heaven. Our housekeeper Janell was so kind and considerate, our taxi driver Brenda helped us immeasurably and my lovely Haidresser TerryAnne ensured my hair stayed braided (and it still is 3 weeks later in the UK). Wonderful experience, world class views

Just returned last night from a week at Villa Nicobar. To begin, working with Nigel was an effortless experience and I would recommend his home to anyone looking. The views are exactly as the photos show, we spent much time in the pool or on the expansive deck watching the cruise ships and sailboats coming and going. The home was very clean and Merle the caretaker was quite helpful. She supplied us with a few groceries before we arrived and helped us arrange a chef for one evening. Our group was three couples and each had a large bedroom with en-suite bath and patio doors leading out to the pool deck.Wonderful time, I would highly recommend.

An incredible villa with stunning views. An amazing holiday and throughly recommended

When seeing the pictures and reading the reviews the reality is often different. I can only say the view and villa is even more beautiful in reality. We spent several days exploring the local beaches and lounging by the pool in the afternoon. The deck is huge and there is a 6 burner Webber perfect for BBQ outside. The bedrooms are all spacious. Merle the housekeeper is a gem. She looked after us and made us feel very welcome. The villa is really well located close to St Johns and everything is a short drive away. Have stayed in Jolly Harbour before we much prefere the view and not getting eaten to death by mosquitoes! Overall a fantastic vacation.

Photos cannot capture the beauty of the views from this villa

Villa Nicobar is amazing. It is a beautiful villa in an absolutely idyllic setting. We all tried to take photos of the beauty of the views and it simply can't be done. It is incredible. The villa itself is spacious and tasteful - the living/dining area is open plan and big. Lots of room for everyone. The outdoor terrace is also large - half of it is shaded from the sun and the pool half is in the sun. Just perfect. There is an easy walk down to a local private beach and a short drive to the beautiful beach which can be seen from the terrace. The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and stylish - and the kitchen has all you need for catering. We all just loved our stay at Villa Nicobar.
