We had a great time at this wonderful villa. The home is stunning and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The views of the bay from many different spots on the property, including from the bedrooms and patio, was impossible to get used to - I was amazed once again every day when I would open the patio doors to let the breeze in and see the view. Sunrise was right over the bay in perfect view over the pool. We didn't have bugs all week (unlike our last night on the island near Dickinson Beach) due to the nice breeze. We loved the location, close to a few grocery stores and terrific restaurants right across Falmouth Harbor, usually only 5-10 minute drive. The road leading to/from the property is rough, but we got used to it. Definitely was the right move renting a Jeep - made the ride easier on that road as well as a couple places we drove on low maintenance roads. We also loved being so close to some of our favorite spots on the island, including Shirley Heights / Blockhouse Overlook, Falmouth and English harbors, Nelson's Dockyard, Galleon Beach (good snorkeling on the far south side by the rocks). And my favorite beach on the island was Pigeon Point Beach which was just across the bay.The owner, property manager, housekeeper, and gardener were all wonderful and did a great job making sure the property was well maintained.Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful home with us! We hope to return some day.
We had a large family reunion and the house accommodated everyone.
Housekeeping staff was friendly and efficient.
Antigua is a beautiful country with very kind people. We loved our stay. We enjoyed several beaches. Don’t miss Shirley Heights or Devil’s Brifge.
Second year at this amazing property. Absolutely an amazing home. Outdoor verandah space is just perfect for socializing and our favorite spot in the home. Everything is clean and the owner is responsive and super helpful. Would strongly recommend this property to everyone.
The house and property were perfect for my family and exceeded our expectations in every way. I have been visiting Antigua for decades. This was the first time I was able to assemble all three of my children and their families on the island. The property manager Anna and housekeeper Pauline both helped make our stay delightful.
Home comfortable for our family of 12
Home in very good repair. Kitchen has everything necessary. Grounds in wonderful shape.
Daily house keeping by Pauline was perfect. She is an absolute pleasure.
My wife and I been to Antiguia 8 pervious trips. This is the 2nd in this area of the island. First time during the summer months- not as many restaurants open as expected but enough for a few meals our.
Enjoyed the Kids Carnival parade.
Highly recommend this home for large family / friends vacation.

Congrats to the owners for keeping the property so nice.
Great house, great location, we took vacation during off-season and there was still plenty to do within a short distance; restaurants, beaches or places of interest. I would recommend a rental vehicle. The owners are awesome to open up their house for rental!
This home was just perfect! The open air living space was our favorite! Beautiful flowers all around especially the pool area. Beach in front is not pretty white sand and when it is high tide there is not much beach, but lots of great beaches nearby. Road to hotel is a bit bumpy and gets old but the house is amazing and worth the drive. We hired Patsy to cook dinners for us and stock the house and she and her son cooked amazing meals. Communication was great. Questions answered very quickly. We would highly recommend a stay at this property.
Thanks for a great week!!
We had a lovely stay here and would recommend it for a multi-generational family trip. The exterior space in particular was great - lovely, private, with beautiful flora. The housekeeper Pauline was lovely to us, as was the owner Melanie and the property manager Anna. We received prompt answers to questions to small things needing attention, and revived good recommendations for services, places to eat, and beaches to visit. We reco getting an SUV to more easily navigate the road to the priory, but with careful driving it’s not dissimilar from private roads one might find in some Caribbean countries.

Perfect house for us! 10 adults and 4 kids. The best part of the house is Pauline. She really kept the house in amazing condition and looked after us like. She made us feel like family and very welcome. Good time had by all!!
The property is absolutely stunning! We loved the incredible views, the open feeling of the house and the tasteful decor. The amenities were fabulous- the pool, the hammock, the beach were enjoyed by all. One of the favorite places we loved to hang out was on the veranda. We spent a lot of time playing games and enjoying our meals there. Pauline and Anna were gems and a wonderful resource. The only thing that was a bit upsetting was the drive to the property, although we know there is nothing the owners can do about it.
The property is beautiful and in a wonderful location. It accommodates a large group. The only suggestions the property will need superficial updates to maintain the beauty. Example is the master bedroom faucet need replacement. However, I’m very pleased with the house. Melanie and Anna’s/team did a wonderful job with assisting me with my need to host my birthday party. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
We just got back from Antigua and I must say, aside from our fun group of friends and family, the best part of the trip were the accommodations at the Dieppe Bay House. The house and grounds are absolutely lovely. From the beautiful blue gates as you first approach the private home, to the colorful artwork that adorns the walls throughout, from the wonderful and plentiful seating arrangements to the terrific layout of bedrooms and spaces--perfect for a large group, everything was comfortable and clean and cared for in a way that we were not expecting. It exceeded our expectations which is always a nice surprise. Communication with the owners and the property managers was extremely easy and polite. The housekeeper, Pauline, who is there M-F was a delight and a great bonus. I highly recommend staying at the Dieppe Bay House and hope to stay there again if and when we return to the beautiful island of Antigua. Thank you, Melanie! A real pleasure.
Not too far from Falmouth and English Harbour, the house was very clean and well appointed. Lots of support from the owner, house manager and maid ranging from transportation, restaurants, private chef and even COVID tests for the trip back. The layout of the house was pretty good, with a huge back living space and patio that was perfect for both hanging out and meals. The kids really enjoyed the pool. One thing to keep in mind is that getting around can be a bit slow due to rough and narrow roads.
Dieppe Bay House exceeded our expectations! Our family of 11 travelled to Antigua to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. This house was perfect for our size group, providing many options for group dinners, conversing, but also provided the space for privacy too (I.e. Cabana, en-suite bathrooms, etc.) The pool and carefully-manicured flower gardens were a daily treat for our eyes. The house is tastefully decorated and includes many photos of the owner’s family which gave it a homey feel.
Planning the trip was somewhat challenging due to the worldwide pandemic, but Melanie was right there to help with any concerns, questions or clarifications.
The road to the house is bumpy and rugged but it gave us a feel for true Antiguan life so we enjoyed it. The house is stocked with towels, linens and all the necessary kitchen tools. We felt welcomed and right at home as we were greeted by Anna, the property manager, who showed us around. She was just a text away on WhatsApp if we had any questions or concerns and acted quickly.
Antigua is a very special island with unbelievable sights. We visited many beaches (Rendezvous Bay which is accessible by hike after a drive up the mountainside, Galleon Beach, Pigeon Beach, Half Moon Bay, Ft. James Beach, Mermaid Gardens, Dickinson Beach, Jolly Beach, Darkwood Beach, Valley Church, Devil’s Bridge and more!)
We took a boat excursion with Mystic which was an all-day adventure (Very fun staff!!) We interacted with many locals and enjoyed their conversations. English Harbor is a short 11-min drive with some great restaurants (Paparazzis, Clubhouse at AYC) We also ate at Trappas and Casa Roots (Marina Bay area where we held our vow renewal right on the beach) and Siboneys (site of famous red phone booth on beach). The food was wonderful every time we went out. There are also options to have grocery shopping done prior to your arrival, which was a welcome treat after a long day of travel. They also have options to have a chef come to house and cook or drop off prepared meals, we wanted to do this but simply ran out of time.
Thank you again Melanie and John for sharing your lovely home with vacationers like
us. We had an unforgettable stay in Antigua and look forward to visiting again!!
We really appreciated being able to stay at this peaceful home. It's tucked out of the way, quiet, spacious, and made for lazy days by the pool. Anna and Melanie were both very communicative, and made the trip easy in every way. Thank you!
Our stay at Dieppe Bay House was wonderful. It was perfect for our large party of 11 people. It was clean, spacious, and exactly as advertised. We would all give this property our highest recommendation. The only negative would be the road that leads to the Villa, but that is out of the control of the villa owner and more on the Government of Antigua.

Dieppe Bay House is as stunning in real-life as in the photos.
This is a very special property, a gracious, welcoming home in a quiet location, yet near the village of English Harbor and beaches. We were a family of 10 plus two toddlers; this was a perfect house for us and we enjoyed our stay immensely. We used all the 6 bedrooms, including the separate cottage, with each room having its own bathroom and privacy. The master bedroom is a dream, with large French doors opening onto decks on two sides. We spent the most time in the expansive living and dining area in the covered veranda, overlooking the pool and bay. It was magical to gather around the dining table in the evening and see the stars and hear the palm trees in the breeze. The kitchen is well-equipped, and each morning Pauline, the housekeeper would come in to help tidy up the house. Anna, the property manager was very helpful with questions about the house and island. And Melanie was a wonderful host. She responded quickly and thoughtfully to all of our many questions and pre-trip concerns. I would love to come back again.

The house is as sensational as it looks in the pictures and very secure.
We were ten, including my wife, & daughters with spouses and 2 teens, each. We had more than enough space to be together & apart. The bedrooms are quite large, and I did t'ai chi in the master. One granddaughter jumps horses competitively & took lessons every day at the stable off our road. She said the lessons were better than at home. Marine biology major granddaughter went scuba diving several times, nearby, and was likewise very pleased. We went on two fishing trips and caught about 20 mahimahi, and one son-in-law went fly fishing with a guide.

Stunning, perfect place.
Our party of 10 (6 adults and 4 teenage boys) couldn't have been more thrilled with our week at Dieppe Bay House, that is unless we had been there for longer. Everything is amazing as soon as you come in the gate (the road in is the only thing we were happy to leave behind.) The house is as spectacular in person as in the photos, and in some cases even better.
A dip in the pool to start the day, then find food in the well stocked kitchen (coffee maker, huge tea pot, blender all at the ready.) Then either sit in the porch area, back by the pool, play soccer/ frisbee in the grassy area or head to the almost private beach. It was hard to choose. The porch area was gorgeous. Enough seating for everyone and we never felt as if we were on top of one another. The screens that can be raised/lowered for rain/bugs worked brilliantly.
All bedrooms were great too. The master bedroom/ensuite is huge with its own amazing porch, which we always planned to use but never did as there were too many other places to be. Two twin rooms for the boys, complete with en suites. Another large queen room with ensuite, porch and view. And the large one room guest cottage in the garden, with en suite, and the sound of the surf to lull you to sleep. Even one room left over if your party is larger.
We loved the view and awaking each morning to find different ships anchored in the bay. There are binoculars at the villa for close up viewing. Housekeeper Pauline was there daily keeping everything spotless. We had a chef prepare an arrival meal for our first evening, as well as make us rum punch and help stock the fridge/bar fridge - a wonderful way to start the holiday.
We loved the area of English Harbour. Lots to see and do - Nelson's Dockyard, Shirley Heights, Half Moon Bay - and the restaurants were all good - Cloggy's, Catherines, Papas. The best grocery store we found nearby was Covent Garden near Nelson's Dockyard.
All in all an amazing week. We can't recommend Dieppe Bay highly enough. Enjoy.

Gorgeous house and pool
Our family of 8 adults and 5 children spent a week at the Dieppe Bay house and had a wonderful time. We loved hanging out at the pool in the afternoon when we came back from the beach. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed and all the bedrooms were comfortable. There is plenty of room for a large group to spread out. Pauline, the housekeeper, was lovely and kept the house neat and clean. We would definitely recommend the house to any large group vacationing together.

In love with Dieppe Bay House!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Antigua and loved our stay at this beautiful property.
The large house and property are simply lovely and lacking nothing!
We spent a lot of time enjoying the pool and the gorgeous garden as well as the sandy beach area on the property.
The road to the villa is a bit of a bone jarring ride ! But we got used to it . We enjoyed exploring the entire island and endless beaches and beautiful sights. The locals we met on the island were so friendly !
We would absolutely love to return to Antigua and Dieppe Bay House !
Highly recommended!

Moonraker
After leaving the rainy west of England arriving in the perfumed warmth of Antigua is heaven - arriving at Dieppe Bay House is paradise confirmed. Perfectly positioned, with views over and access to a sandy beach with excellent snorkelling, Dieppe Bay House is extraordinarily comfortable and welcoming, with its huge terrace as well as first floor balconies, and the perfect swimming pool for young and old alike and masses of space in sun or shade with lots of sunbeds. Difficult as it is to leave the house and garden there is much to see and do on the island, especially the beautiful beaches and every kind of water sport, and then you can come back and have a wonderful evening barbecue by your own stretch of water. You do need a car as there are some very good restaurants within easy reach as well. My chief recommendation of a stay in Dieppe Bay House is that I have stayed there FIVE times!

5***** Island Hideaway
My wife and myself had the most memorable holiday, of our lives at Dieppe Bay House. We were in the swimming pool everyday, and also enjoyed relaxing on the second floor terrace. The property is wonderful with great sea views and a mature garden, which gives you freedom and privacy. With restaurants and attractions near by, it is the perfect Island getaway.

Why they chose this property
As a family we fell in love with the Caribbean back in 1999. After several happy holidays in Barbados, a friend recommended Antigua and we were hooked. We first saw Dieppe Bay House in 2003 - an unfinished new build sitting in a muddy garden with few plants and no pool. Despite all the downsides, we knew we could make it the home of our dreams and set to. The early years were tricky as we got to know which local builders to trust and what would work with the climate in the house and garden. Almost ten years on, we have a house and garden that we are very proud of and the perfect base for many happy holidays over the year. We would love to share it with you.
What makes this property unique
When we arrive from cold England - particularly in December, the first thing we do is head into the garden and onto the beach. The beautiful boats - from super yachts to small dinghies sailing by; the hungry pelicans dive bombing for their latest meal; the lap of the waves; the chatter of the fishermen; and occasionally the glimpse of a turtle. And then the next morning - dawn over Falmouth Harbour is stunning with the call of the barbary ducks in the background. Lastly the smell ... described by a journalist from The Times newspaper as 'the air smells like coconut; like moss; like wet brown sugar; like rum'
