Terps Hideaway – Spacious 5 Bedroom Escape with Hot Tub, Fireplace, Pool Table in Deep Creek Lake (Oakland)

Discover Terps Hideaway, a spacious three-floor vacation rental just minutes from access to fishing, hiking and more! With 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, this home offers ample space for families and friends looking to getaway. This 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home offers plenty of room for families and groups to unwind. The main level, located on the second floor, features a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a cozy living room with a fireplace, and two of the bedrooms. The lower level boasts a pool table for entertainment and two additional bedrooms, perfect for those who enjoy a bit of friendly competition. The third floor offers a peaceful retreat with the final bedroom, providing added privacy. After a day of adventure, return to the comfort and convenience of Terps Hideaway, for a dip in the hot tub or fire up the grill for a barbecue on the deck.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
*This home's kitchen is equipped with a standard and k-cup style coffee pot.
*Max parking spaces for this home is 6; garage access is not available
*Driveway is steep
*This is a non-smoking/vaping property
*Check-in is between 4 pm- 9 pm; Check-out is by 10 am.
*Minimum age to rent is 25.

WHAT TO BRING:
Please plan to bring your own supplies. One bath towel and one washcloth per person will be provided. Homes are equipped with cookware, dishes, drinkware, utensils, and bed linens for the max occupancy of the home. Propane will be provided for all propane grills; any refill requests can be made during normal business hours. Some items NOT provided include: paper products, food/spices, coffee filters, trash bags, detergents, soaps, toiletries, beach towels, firewood and makeup remover wipes (recommended to avoid fees for towel damage).

PETS:
This home is not pet-friendly. Undisclosed pets will be charged a fee equal to 3x the standard pet fee, per pet.

WINTER RESERVATIONS:
A 4WD vehicle is required to access rentals between November through April. Private driveways will not be snow-plowed unless and until there is 5 inches of snow.

RESERVATION PROCESS:
WITHIN 24 HRS OF BOOKING, sign the Rental Agreement to begin receiving your pre-arrival information. (Door Codes will NOT be released without an e-signed agreement.) Once completed, your check-in instructions and door code will be automatically sent ONE DAY PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. If you do not receive this info, please check your spam folder first. If it is still missing, contact us before 4 pm to ensure a smooth check-in. *All cancellations will incur a non-refundable processing fee*

Great Home in a Great Location

Great Fun.

Very nice layout, Plenty of room for the multi-families that stayed here. Beds a little hard and the place could use some decor to make it a bit more homey. Convientenly located to lake, ski slopes, State park.

Great place for large groups

This is the second time we have rented terps hideaway and besides some minor plumbing problems we had with the house, that were easily fixed by the realtors, it is a very enjoyable stay. Probably coldwell bankers best property for a group from 9-12 people.

Lover's & friends trip!

Location was beautiful with the lake view! Very pleased with the property. However none of the bedrooms had TVs. Besides that our stay was absolutely awesome:)

Good stay

Great house, everything was nice and clean. working hot tub, kids enjoyed very much. only about 10 minutes from the ski resort and 10 minutes from walmart. very convenient for all needs and wants. only few cons, the dishwasher and the dryer weren't working, but we got around it.

Great location and comfortable house

The house was in a great location- it was within minutes of the beach, shops, discovery center, fun zones, etc. The house had a better view than the pictures show- we loved it. I would say it needs some updates, but most rentals do. I would definitely consider renting again.

Fun weekend getaway for 10+ friends

the house was great! my friends and i had a great time. it was pretty cozy, but we didn't mind. the only confusion was during checkout when information in the binder was not updated. other than that...nice place!

Great location

We loved the location of this home. It was close to all of the activities we had planned for our families. The house had nice space and three bathrooms to accommodate our three families with kids. This house definitely needs some attention to the deck, hot tub and small miscellaneous home repairs but worked fine with the time we stayed. We were also expecting a bigger yard from what the pictures showed but there wasn’t much of a useable yard space at all.

Winter Getaway

Booked this house for my birthday get away. The house was great, clean, and accommodating to all parties. The wifi was sometimes spotty and water wasn’t always warm. The photos aren’t up to date, the TVs are actually way more up to date and kitchen is as well. I would definitely book again minus the small hiccups.

We apologize for the issues you had with the WiFi. We have had numerous ice storms recently that greatly affect the signal. Crews have been working to get these issues fixed. The hot water heater is working as it should and the water is hot. A possible cause of the loss of hot water can be numerous faucets running at the same time affecting the hot water capacity in the water heater. We will be reaching out to the owner about getting updated photos of the property. We hope we can host you again soon!

Summer stay at Terp's Hideaway

We loved the inside of the house. It was spacious and clean. The couches were particularly comfortable. The cleanliness of the outdoor area was a bit disappointing, especially considering the rate of the place, as was the lack of furniture on the deck. Some light bulbs in the living room need replaced, and the pool sticks need upgraded and chalk included. Otherwise, it was a perfect place to stay with a decent location close to the State Park and Dutch's at Silver Tree.

Great Week

We enjoyed our stay, loved sitting on the deck looking out at the lake. Management company was responsive to our needs. We had an issue with the lock on the front door and it got resolved right away. The hot tub was very relaxing. The house is well equipped but would have liked to use the grill, makes a better hamburger & hot dog. The only concern we had was the driveway very rough and bumpy getting up the hill.

Week at the lake

The property itself was a great family set up with plenty of space. Reasonably priced with a short distance to all of the lake access. However, property had a lot of maintenance needs. The outside hose was broken for refilling the hot tub, many of the appliances were broken, such as the toaster and all of the bathroom exhaust fans were not functional. Pots and pans were all extremely dated, which made cooking more difficult. Overall, Stephan vacation spot, but I would stay at a different house next time.

Please know that your feedback is essential, and we have passed your comments along to our local manager, who assured us that the bathroom fans are in good working order and although the hose might appear to be broken, it is fine and is hooked to the bottom of the spigot. Terms hideaway

Cleaning fees are to much for the condition of house. But there were plenty of towels , sheets. Ask us to do laundry? Cleaning fees?

Great house that is very convenient to everything!

We shared this house with 3 couples and 2 college aged boys. There was plenty if room. The kitchen and large dining room easily accommodated all of us. It was also nice to have the family room for those that wanted to get away and play a game of pool or just relax. The rental office was very accommodating and even brought extra firewood without us having to ask for it. They followed well before, during and after our stay. The hot tub was not working but they worked with us on figuring out a solution so all were happy. Everybody in the group said they would stay there again for sure!

High quality experience at a high quality cabin with a high qual

Our group stayed at Terp's Hideaway in early March. We had a great time staying at Deep Creek. The cabin itself has the feeling of a second home- it is warm and cozy. The small problems we had-- a water filter needing changed and driveway needing cleared of snow-- were quickly addressed by Coldwell's staff. They went out of their way to enhance our stay and we greatly appreciated it. My only caution about this property is the highly elevated driveway. About 85% of the driveway is about a 55-60 degree angle (steep), which can make it very difficult for a small car to get up to the top in snowy/icy conditions.

Okay

The bathroom upstairs had dead ladybugs in the tub. The WiFi was not working, nor the tv or stereo system. The hot tub was giving trouble for the majority of the stay.
