Cozy place to reunite with friends!

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 6 friends from across the country and this was the perfect place to gather for the weekend and hang out after skiing all day. The home is cozy and has all of the amenities. We took advantage of the hot tub both nights, and enjoyed watching the elk roam in the mornings. We would definitely stay again!

Nice Cabin

  • 4 of 5

My family and I stayed over Christmas 2017 and had a great time. Located in between Enumclaw and Crystal Mountain made it convenient to go shopping or skiing. The cabin was nicely kept and comfortable. The hot tub and gazebo is a really nice amenity, however it is not conveniently located right next to the house. Although we were fine with it, some folks may not like having to trudge as far through the snow and cold weather. Nice neighborhood and the local elk are very friendly. We definitely would return when we are back that way. Thank you Tamara for providing us a nice place to stay and play.

Cozy delightful cabin

  • 5 of 5

My friends annual ski trip found a great home in the Elk Crossing Chalet. The house and kitcehn is well stocked, and the hot tub was a great post ski treat. Will look to book again in the future!

Fantastic stay!!

  • 5 of 5

I was celebrating my engagement and my fiancé’s birthday-and we had such a wonderful time! The cabin was clean, had All the basics you could need, and it was so adorable! It definitely self like a sweet cabin tub in the woods. The hot tub was awesome and the host was really gracious. Would definitely recommend!

A quiet week in the forest ?

  • 3 of 5

My wife and I booked the chalet in hopes of a peaceful getaway together far from the hustle and bustle of city life. First I will start with the good, beds and linens were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with amenities, plates, pots and pans, ect... everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The hot tub was very relaxing and there was plenty of firewood for us to have a large fire. The herd of Elk that roam the area were beautiful.

When it was stated that the chalet was located on 3.7 acres... well that is misleading. There are houses to the left and right of the chalet and another rental property located on the same lot with a large hill behind it that is inaccessible for hiking or exploring.

We thought we would have the place to ourselves but instead ended up having to share the hot tub and fire pit area with 2 other couples that were very boisterous and definitely changed the atmosphere of the serene escape we had in mind (only for the last two nights). This would be a great location if you can afford to rent out both spaces, the chalet and the eagle's nest.

Owner is nice, lives right next door (if you need anything).

We would stay here again IF we had a group we wanted to share the space with.. As far as a retreat for just the two of us we will look for something that is more private.

Overall we had a nice time.

It is stated that the tipi, fire pit and hot tub are shared with the other rental on the property. I'm glad that overall you had a nice time and found the cabin with everything that you needed. Fantastic chalet! Enjoyed each day!!

  • 5 of 5

The description was accurate of this cozy chalet. On a quiet street. Wifi strong, but cell reception only at the end of driveway (short distance)...but that is true for the entire area. Kitchen was adequately appointed and very functional. Beds were super comfortable. Large dining table inside and nice picnic table outside. We loved watching to elk come through at dusk each night to nibble. Thanks Tamara for providing all our needs!
