Cozy home with privacy fence, fire pit & garage!

Enjoy quick access to grocery stores, downtown, the mall or hospital and clinics from this centrally located Salina home. If you like to hike or mountain bike, Indian Rock & the Levee are only a 12 minute drive away. Or just unplug with a book, some cards or a board game. You may also park your vehicle in the attached garage or under the carport to keep it dry during those famous Kansas thunderstorms!

We took great care to provide things we have appreciated and things that were missing from our past travel experiences. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV with free Disney Plus w/Hulu as well as charging stations for your devices and extra pillows and blankets. Crib/pack-n-play & high chair are available upon request. The kitchen is well-stocked for most of your cooking and baking needs - from baking pans to a rice cooker and crock pot! And please help yourself to the complimentary snacks on the living room coffee table, as well as the complimentary coffee packets and coffee condiments in the kitchen.

There will be plenty of propane in the tank to fire up the gas grill for a cookout in our fully fenced-in private backyard. After dinner, enjoy some s’mores around the fire pit. We’re happy to provide some firewood if you need it.

We had an excellent stay! The house is clean, well kept and had everything you might need. The backyard is completely surrounded by a privacy fence, which is terrific if you are traveling with your dog! Would stay again if in the area!

The place was clean and decorated nicely. Had everything that was promised. It was uncomfortable on arrival as the inside temp was 52 degrees and took an hour or so to warm up. Main bedroom was great. Second bedrooms beds were very uncomfortable. Did not stay long so we didn’t use much else.

I’m sorry to hear you found the second bedroom so uncomfortable. We have never had that reaction about the twin bed bedroom - either when kids or adults have slept there-usually the exact opposite. Christel and Paul are amazing hosts. They were super communicative and accommodating from the moment we booked our stay, and responded quickly to our questions. The Sunflower House was cute, clean, cozy, and well-stocked. The neighborhood is cute and very quiet, as well as being very convenient to I-70. My husband and I, with our medically complex son, stayed for three nights while we were in Salina for my grandmother's memorial service. The house ended up being perfectly suited to our needs, and we hope to book here again for our next visit to Salina!

Perfect Stay!

The Sunflower Cottage is a perfect place to stay in Salina! The owners are responsive and kind, the house was perfect for two couples, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

This place is a gem. Just the right size for my wife and me on our way through Salina. It is clean, nicely furnished and decorated, and thoughtfully stocked. The neighborhood feels safe. I'd definitely stay here again.

Super nice stay. We actually cooked a casserole on route to Denver. So much like a little home away from home. Stays are too short at some of these places. Close to Oakdale park which had a lovely garden ; even in the rain.

Just enough for a quick stay
