Our friend group was looking for a five-bedroom house that would provide the space, setting and accommodations we needed for a special celebration of our 50years of friendship, and what we found here went far beyond our expectations. The house is immaculate and very comfortablely appointed. We were 10 adults and we had both the space for gathering, cooking and eating together, and the quiet and privacy each couple wanted that helped to make our time together extra-special. The well-equipped kitchens (main and lower level) comfortable beds and linens, and the ample number of bathrooms, with plenty of towels, soaps and shampoos, gave us everything we needed. The peaceful, country setting offered fall colors and deer passing through, adding to the experience. The host was very responsive and timely in answering questions and clear on instructions for accessing the house, and expectations for checking out. We all agreed we would be delighted to come back for another weekend together at this beautiful, peaceful and welcoming place.

We absolutely loved our stay! The layout was ideal for multiple families, with plenty of extra space for everyone to spread out. The backyard was expansive, peaceful, and a perfect place to look out and drink coffee. The home had a modern feel with charming country-style accents and décor throughout. The beds were very comfortable, and the water pressure was excellent.The owners were incredibly kind and responsive, making the entire experience seamless. We would definitely stay here again on our next ski trip to Elk Mountain…it’s so close and convenient!Tip: During snow season, we recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle. The home is tucked away in a quiet, secluded area, and the nearby Main Street is not a heavily traveled road.
