Large Groups, Hot Tub, Near Attractions, Wooded/Country Setting w/Aparment/Annex

Country Roads Inn is our largest Harpers Ferry Vacation Rental. The home is in a wooded setting adjacent to River Riders and convenient to all the Harpers Ferry attractions and the Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races. It has a huge yard, fire ring, basement rec room and hot tub perfect for a relaxing getaway for your group. Features 4 master bedrooms, 2 kitchens, and a 70" big screen tv. The home has a hillside view off to the west of beautiful sunsets every evening. Additionally when PAYING FOR EXTRA GUESTS, we have an annex with 3 extra bedrooms, a kitchenette, and 2 full baths. Must pay for at least 17 guests to have access to all rooms.
Slope side home in the winter months to Snow Riders which allows for excellent access to the tubing runs. Lights and potentially other guests on the slope may be seen from the home.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Initial booking with up to 12 guests includes the main house ONLY. In order to have access to the annex extra bedrooms, you must pay for extra guests.

A long weekend in Harper’s Ferry

We were extremely satisfied with everything except the grill. We were planning to BBQ but the grill was broken and we were disappointed. Otherwise, we loved the property.

Comfortable getaway

Our stay was great and really enjoyed the house. We had so much space to have our own time and then still be able to come together for meals and hanging in the hot tub. We now want to come back in the winter and go to the sledding hill right in front of the house!

Nice large yard. Good quiet location. Family/Game room was a lovely gathering space. Backyard with fire pit and spacious deck with grill was great.The house is a bit old and there were things which need attention such as:Sink faucet in one of the upper master bedrooms was unusable as water splashed everywhere and it did not drain well. Hardly any hand soap in the bathrooms and no hand towels.Bath Towels were old All beds were very squeaky and uncomfortable with lumpy mattressesNo trash bags in the kitchenNo aluminum foil, plastic wrap or cooking oilVery old, stained and scratched pans - almost unusablePlenty of plates and silverware and baking bowls.

Wonderful Gathering Place

What a perfect home for our Thanksgiving celebration! There were so many rooms in which to spread out, the beds were comfortable, and the location was central to necessities. We had a great stay!

Family DC History Trip

We used this beautiful home for a history trip of DC landmarks and regional Civil War Battlefields. The location was great. The drive into DC averaged about an hour and 45 minutes in the mornings due to traffic, but all the other Civil War destinations were much less and the house is large and very well maintained. The family loved sitting in the hot tub each night after a long day of walking and had the extra pleasure of a herd of deer that greeted us each night next along side the driveway to the house each night on our return for that day's excursions. Would defiantly stay here again!

Perfect location!

We really enjoyed staying at this house and definitely plan on staying there again! Plenty of space for large groups! We loved how close it was to all the river riders activities. Loved that we could walk over to get checked in for everything and also found the trail that leads you to a restaurant that is attached to a hotel up the hill and an ice cream shop.

Great House With Plenty of Space

Great House With SO Much Space!

Four couples in our early 60's hiking the West Virginia portion of the AT. We had such a great time because there is so much to do in that area. House is convenient to everything! Having space for everyone to have their quiet time if needed.

This house was booked as a homebase for the groomsmen for my sons wedding. All of the groomsmen were from out of town and needed accommodations for the weekend. They loved the location and everything about the house!

Clean and spacious

This place was perfect for our family gathering. There was so much space to spread out. My favorite part was how clean it was. That's so important to us. The owners were great, we had to change dates and there were questions about the pricing and they were so patient with us while it all got figured out. I highly suggest this rental and since we have family close by, we will probably be using those place again!

Couples get away

No surprises. We got what we saw in the extensive photos. A bit of confusion with the lower level shower. It looked like a conventional two valve setup but actually one handle turned the water on and off while the other adjusted the water temperature. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking.

Pluses and minuses

The house was very clean. Our big complaint was the lack of comfortable seating. The sofas may look nice but they are not comfortable seating. We were surprised to see snow being made practically in the front yard for snow tubing. Fortunately it was not open yet. The noise would have bothered some of us. Over all if I were to go to Harper’s Ferry I would still choose this house. The location is close proximity to everything.

Great Family Vacation

We arrived at Harpers Ferry last Sunday. We drove from Oklahoma. My daughter and family flew i from Des Moines ,Iowa and my son and family drove from Parkersburg, WV . The communication was great with Laura. The house was clean and as represented. The location was perfect for all our needs. There was 6 adults and 2 children. And there was more room then we needed. We enjoyed our stay and time in Harpers Ferry. Hope to return and would recommend this home for a family vacation.
