Pinto House! Private Hot Tub & 5 Fenced Acres
Welcome to Pinto House! In the Wonder Valley area on a quiet paved road, you'll find yourself able to relax & unwind in our charming & quirky desert home. Pinto House sits on a 5 acre, fully fenced property that's just 15 minutes from the north entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. The peaceful quiet, endless sunsets, and star-filled nights make it a great retreat. A place to take a deep breath and unwind.
Inside: The house has two bedrooms with queen beds, as well as a queen pull-out sofa bed in the living room. One of the bedrooms has an office space (with extra monitor) in case you need to get in a little work. The other room has a library of classic literature we've collected over the years for you to enjoy during your stay. Each room has its own personal-zoned mini-split A/C & heating unit so you can adjust the temperature just how you like it! Each bedroom also has a ceiling fan, extra blankets, and 2 terrycloth robes.
We have super-fast Wi-Fi for smooth streaming / remote work / video calls. There is a full kitchen with a reverse osmosis filtered water system, gas range, and automatic ice maker. We also have coffee and tea available! There are also many card & board games to play on the long kitchen table and a 55-inch Vizio smart UHDTV (with sound bar & subwoofer) where you can log-in to your streaming services or project your own phone/computer.
Outside: Our favorite part! It is so quiet and peaceful - exactly what you want from a desert experience. Covered front and back patios. Covered parking area. The front patio has a bistro table and the back patio has a picnic table surrounded by hammocks. Settle in for hours with your coffee and a book! You can play a round of cornhole, sling some horseshoes, take the meandering path back to the fire pit, or explore the desert landscape on 5 acres of fenced, dog-friendly fun. From June 1 - October 1 we offer a wonderfully cool, 12-foot round, above-ground pool! At the end of the day, the big hot tub is perfect for star gazing or enjoying the sunset.

We have been hosting at Pinto House on another site since 2020. We have 162 guest reviews and a 4.98 star rating. The love we have for our property - we spend a lot of time there ourselves - is evident in how we care for the home and land.
Why they chose this property
You'll see how quiet and private this property is! There are 5 fenced acres of desert to explore, with all of the creosotes, a few cacti, and a plethora of desert critters. Light pollution is nearly non-existent this far out of town, so the stars on clear, moonless nights are absolutely breathtaking.
What makes this property unique
Even though Pinto House is on a paved road and only 10 minutes from downtown Twentynine Palms, the property is secluded and quiet, with incredible sunrise and sunset views and immense and star-filled night skies.
