The place was great for the four of us as a base to explore Joshua Tree National Park for a few days. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed being at the edge of town for the quiet and opportunity to see the stars at night.

We enjoyed our stay in this nice house at the end of the road in a quiet neighborhood. Property was just as described with private yard, hammock and games (darts, corn hole). Short drive to Twentynine Palms restaurants and shops, a bit longer drive to supermarket. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Host very responsive.

This location was right next to the Joshua Tree national park which we were visiting the next day! We got in fairly late, however, the accommodations were amazing and the check-in was great. Also, there was great stargazing opportunities outside on the hammock! Would stay here again if I was ever in the area.

Perfect base for visiting Joshua Tree

Spotlessly clean house less than 5 minutes from the entrance to the park. Comfortable beds and well-stocked kitchen. Because it’s so close to the park, it’s removed from stores and restaurants so stock up before you arrive. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our first time trip to Joshua Tree. The house was clean and comfortable. With the temperatures in the 90’s and 100’s, we were very happy with the air conditioning! The location was very close the park and the hosts provided great recommendations for hikes. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The property was only 3 miles from the entrance of the Park. It was clean and had everything we needed. We will defiantly try to rent this property again when we return again to Joshua Tree.

It’s as close as you can be to the park entrance. Clean and tidy house. East entrance process. There are no street lights here so if you get here after dark just go slow and you will find it.

Awesome location

This home is in the perfect location. It looks out at mountains and wild desert land. It’s just a few miles to North entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. The home is spacious and beautifully decorated. Fenced in front and back yard was perfect for our dog. Our only complaint was that the hot water temperature is too low. Other than that it’s perfection.

BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY

Despite a bit of a speedbump upon check-in this was one of the best places I have stayed at in the J-Tree area. Beautiful property, perfect layout for me and my 3 kids. I loved the backyard, the kids played darts and layed in the hammock. Well stocked kitchen. No soap in the bathroom but we brought our own luckily. Great location too. The only problem was I didn't get the door code before I checked in but the owners were quick to respond and open the door remotely. I would definitely stay here again!

A peaceful desert home.

This was a perfect place to stay while exploring the desert with our dog. The home is comfortable and quiet with a fenced yard on 3 sides of the house. There is a full kitchen with all the dishes, pots and pans, and utensils we needed. A full size refrigerator and a dishwasher. There are chairs in the front yard to watch the sunset. A picnic table and lots of seating in the back yard, including a hammock. A great place to watch the stars. We enjoyed the dart board and cornhole too.

Hello, we are Luke and Tara! We are both from Northern California, but currently live in Reno, NV. We enjoy spending most of our time outside enjoying the mountains, ocean, desert, or whatever else we can find! We also enjoy traveling and getting to experience new places and new cultures. We love hosting because as seasoned travelers we know what it is like to spend time in someone else's home and what necessities are required to create a comfortable and homey stay.

Why they chose this property

The house is situated at the back corner of our neighborhood. We only have 2 immediate neighbors, one that is a good family friend, and the other property is also a short term rental property. Immediately across the street is untouched Bureau of Land Management (public land) that has a great desert walking area, however the neighborhood is also lightly traveled and staying on the paved roads is also a good option for local walks :). We enjoy the quiet, calm environment that exists at this house!

What makes this property unique

This is a simple, yet well-stocked vacation rental. You will find the kitchen to be well-equipped to cook most meals and includes a dishwasher to make clean up very simple. Bedrooms are large with king sized beds and have ample storage for your visit. There is also an abundance of books and games to be played!
