The lake view was fantastic with amazing views! The decor was perfect. The little cabin was a total surprise and so much fun. Wish we had more time there to use it. Will stay there longer again next time to make sure we can enjoy all the house has to offer!
The location was great and perfect for our family getaway. The views, game room and amenities made our stay relaxing and enjoyable . We didn’t want to leave .
This is our second time staying at this property and we enjoyed it again! We love the bear cave to get away from evening mosquitoes and we crank up the music and enjoy the evenings. We look forward to booking again next summer.
This property will blow your mind. Great for people big and small and family for sure. We did a couples trip and this was over the top and exceeded our expectations!! We will be back for sure
Great family location. Easy access to water and shallow area for kids. The house is fully loaded, everything you could need. Paddle boards and pedal boat were a hit. Well apportioned home, warm, inviting and comfortable. Beautiful outdoor space to reconnect with nature. Plenty of shade, fire pit and a huge sand box for kiddos outside.
Nestled in a quiet lake is the perfect place to relax and yet enjoy a lake. Plenty of paddle boards and floats to enjoy the lake.
The house is very clean and quiet. Would rent again.
Beware that there is an outdoor flight of stairs from where you park to the house. Worked okay for us, but definitely watch out if your family members have trouble with stairs. There is a wooden railing and automatic lighting.
It was a great property for a family get away with friends. Relaxing and a great view. The Bear Cave was a nice bonus for the grownups after the kids went to bed. If you have small kids, bring your remote monitor it works perfectly.
A beautiful property with lots of room, lots of light, comfortable beds, plus wonderful lake views, situated in a quiet neighborhood. In addition, the host was very attentive to our special needs--which is not so easy to find. Favorably impressed all the way around.
Overall we had a wonderful stay. There were just a few minimal features that needed improvement. The outdoor shower wasn't hooked up, the linen closet had a strong odor from a damp mop that was left in there, there were 2 TV's in the Bear cave but no TV on the main floor of the house, wanted to use the fireplace but no instructions & the pier was in need of some maintenance. This sounds like nit picking but hopefully taken a constructive criticism. We would definitely stay again.
This was the best property we have rented in years! It was fully stocked with so much kitchen stuff, towels and beach stuff. We loved having the paddle boards and boat- we mostly hung around the property with a few trips to lake Geneva and surrounding, but it was just so lovely we wanted to be there by the smaller lake the whole time. Everyone agreed, grandparents and kids were happy! Thank you so much!
Our stay was too short and late in season to take advantage of the many amenities. Found everything to be as described. Parking on upper level could be daunting if one had difficulty with stairs but service entry made it more accessible. Want to arrive before dark to see driveways/entry. Very relaxing.
We had an incredible time at the lakefront compound on Lake Benedict. Between us, we had 5 children, all tall boys/young men ranging from 15 - 20. They were able to sleep comfortably in the kids "dormitory" - even the daybed and trundle are comfortable. There's a 4th (unadvertised) bedroom that is very small (fits just the double bed itself) - but as an extra space to lay one's head it was perfect. The other 2 bedrooms face the lake, have comfortable beds (I'm picky about this), and plenty of space to keep folded and hanging clothes. There are also multiple hooks in the bedrooms and bathrooms, allowing for towels and bathing suits to be hung.
The set-up of the first floor was wonderful for games. We had at least 7 and often 9 people gathered around the coffee table, and we sometimes played around the large table on the deck outside. The upstairs living area is great, too - comfortable couch and perfect table for a foursome to play cards while overlooking the lake.
Now for the best part - the lake. We loved the canoe and paddle boards (so nice to have 2). Check out the adjacent Lake Tombeau by canoe - it's lovely. The peddle boat was nice, with an awning for shade. The lake water is crystal clear and was a comfortable temp during our stay. It's shallow off the end of the pier so not possible to jump in, but that minor downside was offset by all of the water tubes, floats, and toys that made the swimming fun. (Bring water shoes for tender feet.) Loved the bear cave!

This is a beautiful house and all the other reviews are spot on. The kitchen had everything we needed; beautiful layout with one bedroom on the main floor and an awesome living room on the second floor. I wish the listing was more specific on the following: the only parking is a pad on the street. It will park 4 to 5 cars but you have to walk down many steps to reach the house. Not very accessible for older or handicapped people. We were told we can drive on the grass to drop off but most of the property is constantly wet and we almost got stuck . The fishing boat( wood rowboat with trolling motor) you would have to drag on the soaked lawn only to find out that it takes on water so it wasn’t used. The paddle boat also leaks; was mentioned on their information sheet. Paddle boards and canoe were fun. The bear cave wasn’t used at all for it smelled like smoke and the main tv above the bar didn’t work. The gas grill was out of propane; other commented on this as well. Lastly we had some family over on Saturday and the neighbor must of been informed for he put out a rope to mark his property line and many comments were made of being watched. Overall it’s a great house but could use some updates and check on all the amenities in between stays.

I find this review to be inaccurate and fairly petty...
1.) The fishing boat is a 10' metal Jon boat (not wood) that does not leak. Our last guest fished all day, every day.
2.) The TV in the Bear Cave works fine and has for every other family this summer. Many have thanked me for being able to watch games in there.
3.) There is always an extra full propane tank next to the grill. I check for each rental.
4.) The neighbors comment is absolutely ridiculous. They are wonderful people who put the rope up all year long to keep geese out of their yard. Had nothing to do with your party (which our listing makes very clear that parties/events are not allowed on our property).
5.) You stayed there in May after a record spring of rainfall. Complaining about wet grass? Grass has been dry all summer and easy to park on.
6.) You were correct about the peddle boat. It was old, broken and has been replaced with a new one.
Finally, 70% of our rentals are return families who really enjoy the property and that we welcome back every summer.

We had a wonderful week at this spot! We didn’t have to leave the house to enjoy playing in the sand, swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, paddle boating, and fishing! We spent most of our vacation right there at the house. We did go to Lake Geneva twice, where we found a wonderful toy store and a cute book store, plus a great ice cream shop! It was wonderfully relaxing. Going on a run around Lake Benedict was also fun! Highly recommend this spot, and we are likely to return ourselves!
My family and I recently stayed at this lake property and it was perfect! The location was great and being right on the lake was so much fun for the entire family.
We really loved staying at the lake house. The setting was beautiful and the house had everything we needed including toys. We didn’t get a chance to hang out at the bear cave because we didn’t need the extra space. The lake access with all the toys was loads of fun for the kids.
The space, rooms, land, water access, and water toys were fantastic. The kitchen, beds, linens, countertops were very clean. The upstairs carpet and various area rugs were pretty gross and needed some serious cleaning.
Great location. Large property. Nice sandy shallow water off the dock for children. Large fire pit and sandy play area for children. Within 15 minute drive to Lake Geneva. Plenty of sleeping space. Scenic views from multiple areas of the house.
We appreciated how this property had much to offer in fair weather and was so well stocked with supplies and amenities. The bathrooms were clean. Views were great. Carpets and ceiling vents/bathroom fans needed attention. A true railing would be helpful for older people trying to navigate outdoor stairs. Overall, we would recommend.
