The property provides a spectacular view of the ocean with all of the big windows on both floors. The house has plenty of seating that you can set and look at the view, watch ocean birds out on the lighthouse island and if lucky see Osprey in a huge tree down the way. The beds are comfortable. The house was immaculate.

A lovely, private getaway

This house is very private and peaceful. Plenty of room, light and bright, and many thoughtful touches like a coffee grinder, beach towels, and condiments. We loved it and miss it already.

Striking setting with unique architectural home right on and above lovely beach and cove looking upon the Cape Arago Lighthouse. Very good location for exploring the area including the marvelous adjacent Shore Acres, Sunset Bay and Cape Arago seaside state parks and the South Slough National Estuary Research Reserve. The house was very clean, had low but comfortable seating in the large living dining room area, also looking out on the lighthouse. Very well equipped kitchen with everything needed for meal preps. Did not use the outdoor grill. Upstairs bedroom again with striking views over the Lighthouse and cove. Downstairs bedroom for those who prefer more dark. Very quiet location for sleeping, no foghorns or lights from the inactive but beautiful lighthouse. Large deck with table for outdoor dining with a nice lawn overlooking the cove as well. Attached garage was used to keep salt spray off the car. Upstairs large bathroom with walk in shower, downstairs bathroom with tub. Outside hoses to wash off windows and sandy shoes. Narrow switchback path down to the very beautiful beach would be suitable for younger agile guests. Enjoyed watching surfers catch some good breaks off the beach. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

This property wasan amazing find. Right on the ocean front with access to the beach. Home was well stocked gor needs. Only problem we had was the heater in upstairs bedroom did not work and had to usr extra blankets to stay warm. Would highly recommend this property and hope to come back ourselves.

Beautiful House on the Coast

Perfect house, everything you need with an amazing view. Great location with grocery stores close by. Restaurants are a hit or miss as a lot were closed or limited days/hours. Wonderful nature trails and parks near by.
