Mike’s place was great— comfortable, well stocked unit; gorgeous property; fantastic view and sunsets. A favorite was the staircase to the beach where we saw tide pools with various colorful sea creatures. Nearby Shore Acres is also a must see. We highly recommend this property!

The place was absolutely beautiful and in a stunning location! Perched on a cliff, it looked directly down onto a cute little beach, and the views from inside were incredible. The charming beachy décor was perfect for the setting, and every room had many thoughtful little touches. Everything was incredibly clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we could have needed. You could tell that a great deal of care had gone into making the home feel welcoming and special.The private deck is located by the back door and does not have an ocean view. The larger outdoor area is shared with the upstairs rental, but no one was staying upstairs during our visit, so we were fortunate to have it all to ourselves. This made our stay feel especially peaceful and private. We had a wonderful time and absolutely loved the property!

Very spacious space on first floor and only 3 steps into entrance. We had access to close parking by our first floor entrance for easy unloading of luggage and groceries. Nice size living room, dining room and kitchen. We used big refrigerator with freezer and ice machine, nice sink and drainer, microwave, coffee maker. We didn’t use convection oven and hot plate. One bathroom for master and guests. One garage space converted into game room. Outdoor space fun, inviting, and landscaped with enclosed patio, and fire pit facing lighthouse. Our one concern was a couple of the paths led to the very edge of cliff overlooking beach and bay so children would need to be supervised closely. It was quiet and peaceful. Thank you.

The house is wonderful , awesome views and great access to the beach! The house was beautiful. It’s a two store rent shared space. Other ppl were coming and going. While we were there.l, If you’re okay with that it’s a great place. Very quiet and easy to find.

When we opened the front door of our first floor unit there was a feeling of spaciousness, beauty, and good living! We especially loved the kitchen area with its views of the coast in all directions and of the yard with its tall pines and welcoming places to gather. The private beach at low tide was great to walk and explore and spectacular with its high sculptured cliffs.We found good restaurant choices in town and parks to enjoy within a few miles.Mike was welcoming and helpful with planning our three days.

We wanted to stay in Coos Bay one night only since flying into North Bend Airport. It was by luck that a one night only stay was available! The lawn space, view , access to the private beach all makes it feel like your own private resort. Just perfection.

First rate location and building. We could have used more specific information on kitchen facilities in the original ad. For example, when we bought coffee on our way there, what kind of coffee maker was there? In the end everything was excellent.The TP holder broke early on; it looks like a part is missing.After trying to fit the top sheet provided with the box bed without success (too small), we found the proper queen sheet stored in a closet.

The cottage itself was excellent. Very nicely done and better than it appears from the pictures. The ocean views were spectacular with close access to the beach. Close to costal walks and sights, ( don’t miss the sea lions), there was plenty to do. We loved our stay here.

What is there to say? Beautiful, spacious well maintained home. And a post card view. Within an hour of booking I received a note from Mike outlining everything you might have a question about. You will not find a better property to stay at. The property is immaculate and has all the extra touches you could ask for. We stayed in the first floor apartment which was very spacious and included the garage with washer/dryer. Ping pong table, foosball and much more. Where this property shines is the ability to rent the whole house which would fabulous for a family reunion. Outdoor sitting areas, fire pits, grills etc. All looking out over the Ocean and a view of the lighthouse. Kitchen was stocked well, easy to cook. I could on, but all the bases were covered by the owners. It's a property that makes you feel like a friend let you stay in their beach house. Many thanks!!

This was an amazing location with so much to see. We spent 5 days there and didn't run out of things to do within the area. Very beautiful and we were sad to leave. We loved the private beaches.

2nd stay, still great!

It was our 2nd stay, and the property has only been improved upon. Great location next to beautiful State Parks, and a very comfortable place for our family of four.
