This a rustic cabin provided ample sleeping accommodations and recreation opportunities with the provided kayaks and floats for the kids! Having lake front was a fantastic benefit to the hot summer days that we rented the cabin. Communication with the host was good!

The host was responsive but the property wasn't well kept. It was misty and a lot of the cabineta, drawers, and rooms contained mouse droppings. The proximity to the lake was the best part about the property.

My family had a blast swimming , fishing, kayaking, and tubing. The cover dock is definitely a plus!! The setup is awesome, but the cleanliness and the pest issues were a problem. But these issues have been addressed with the host for hopefully future renters that will not be a problem.

Very cool log cabin with PLENTY of space to spread out. The kayaks and paddle boat were very fun to take out. And probably the best part was the view of the stars from the awesome fire pit and dock. Truly amazing for star gazing!

Had a great time at this lake property. Right on the lake and perfect set up. Only issue was we were not able to utilize the WiFi for most of the first night, but they have agreed to partially refund due to this (still waiting on the refund to show at this time, but they have agreed to do so)

This is an idea property for people who like to fish or boat. Beautiful authentic hickory cabin,large kitchen,sun room.This property would be wonderful and for a large group,especially children for a family reunion. There is plenty of room to spread out,divided up well for families. Master suite with attached bathroom on the main floor,another master suite on level two. It has really great patio space,especially the fire pit,porch swing area. Adequate parking. Great front porch.Completely deserted when we were there,but very private anyway,neighbors not close. The dock is big and newer. Track down to the dock can be treacherous and steep,doable if you go slow. Weather was ridiculously hot and we still caught fish. Quiet,slower boat traffic,many,many water birds,deer,hawks and a multitude of squirrels due to hickory trees and oak trees. If I had a big group,I’d want more table seating and better kitchen equipment. The leather couch smelled like a smelly guy slept on it.The outside maintenance staff is failing this property,grass not mowed,property not picked up,plastic fork,moldy lounge chairs,broken fishing poles. Way more good to say. We communicated these things to the property people.

I rented this house for a family vacation. While, the house itself and the location was great the a/c stopped working on the 3rd day. Temperatures outside reached the mid 90s with a heat index of 100. Inside, the temperature rose to 86. After reporting that the a/c wasn’t working, the response from the owners/property manager was inadequate. Suggesting that we try to triage the problem and fix it ourselves was highly inappropriate. THAT response, the lack of concern, and no action takes away from the overall experience. As of the time of this review, we still have not heard anything back regarding our experience.
