About Debby

We currently reside in Napa, CA. Mike was raised in Napa, Debby was born in England and made it to Napa via Phoenix and So Cal. We have 2 wonderful and helpful boys and enjoy running this vacation rental and a second in Tahoe.

Why Debby chose Southern Oregon

We love to come to Ashland for Shakespeare and for outdoor activities. We wanted a place a short walk to downtown and we fell in love with this cottage for it's historic feel and lovely gardens.

Everything You'd Want in a Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee and watch several deer walk down the street. Walk to the coop grocery store and downtown along side a creek. I've stayed in this cottage twice-- a summer visit and a fall visit--to attend the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and taste some Oregon wine. Hard to say which season I enjoyed the most, but the cottage is the perfect place to stay any season. Nicely furnished. Owner is responsive. I highly recommend. Other recommendations: Marionberry popover at Four & Twenty Black Birds Bakery, lunch or dinner at Larks, and lunch or dinner at Dancin winery.

Such a well-appointed property. Very comfortable for three women.

Stairs to the second floor might be an issue for some but not for us. Owner was very accommodating.

We and our dogs loved the house!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the house. Teriffic location. Walked to grocery store, gym, bakery, restaurants and theatre. The house was perfect to take our two corgis with us. They loved the walk every morning to the park just down the street. We would stay here again absolutely and appreciate the owners having such a great pet friendly house

Perfect house

  • 5 of 5

We had such an amazing long weekend in Ashland this past weekend. The house is adorable and has everything one needs to make the stay perfect. We brought our two older dogs who had no problems with the house as the main rooms are all on one level and the front yard is fenced. The master bed is incredibly cozy and the house is perfect for a couple or small family with dogs. Thank you!

Good property. Great Location. Problem with service animal.

  • 3 of 5

We had a great time and would give this property 4 or 5 stars if not for possibly illegal charges for our service animal. Is it legal for VRBO to charge fees for service animals? I know hotels are not allowed to charge the fees that VRBO charged me.
