Lazy River for a Lazy Weekend

My family and I had a wonderful long weekend at this lazy river retreat. The home and property was as advertised. The home was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We booked the property for the pool and it did not disappoint. This is a great place to stay with family and friends.

This was my second stay. First was with family. We had so much fun, I had to bring friends to enjoy this house. Lazy river pool is relaxing. House is roomy. Very clean and had everything we needed and more!

Perfect 80th Birthday Celebration with Family

We had a great stay celebrating our parents 80th Birthday! We caught some good sized bass, enjoyed the Hot Tub, had lots of laughs by the firepit, played games, and cooked delicious meals in the kitchen! Everyone had such a great time!! Thank you so much!!!

Everything you may need to have a good getaway

We rent Maelia’s property for the weekend to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday & we had an amazing time. Our family and friends loved every bit of the house, enough space for everyone to be comfortable doing different things. Our kids loved the pond in the back and enjoyed the fishing. Definitely worth it & we will back soon.

AWESOME place!!

It was a perfect place for our girls weekend!! Loved that amazing pool with a great swim up bar! The girls loved it! Lots of stuff to do..Poker room, put put golf, and did I mention the AMAZING pool!! The house had everything we could imagine we need, even had a Creamie ice cream maker. We will definitely be back!

Family Reunion

I ended up hosting the meet and great for my family reunion and 4th of July here. The kids enjoyed the pool as well as the adults. If you get a chance to rent this place and are thinking twice DON'T. The pictures absolutely do not do this property justice. Next time I'm in Houston I will be trying to book this again.

This House was AMAZING!!! The house itself is incredible. It is spacious and welcoming you feel at home yet you feel completely relaxed with vacation vibes. The grounds!!! Everything you could possibly want putt putt, pool, lazy river, ponds, a barn to host a party. This retreat literally has everything you could want for a family get a way or a celebration. We booked the house for our wedding weekend because the Venue was in walking distant. All the bridesmaids got ready here. We had 8 girls getting makeup and hair down. There was so much room and even with all those people there, there was still room for me to find a quiet space to collect my thoughts that morning! I can't say enough about this house! We will definitely be back for another stay!!

This property is amazing! We had two adults and two teenagers and we all loved it. The pool and lazy river are exceptional, and there were various floats and pool toys already there, along with beach towels. The kids putted it on the green, we all fished (and I learned to take a fish off of the hook so we could release it), we had a cornhole tournament, and the Bluetooth rock speakers outside were perfect for putting on some music while we floated around. The kids took most of their meals at the swim bar, which they loved also. The inside of the property is spacious and absolutely gorgeous. The bathrooms were equipped with towels and bath products, and everything you would need in the kitchen was there. This trip was a 10 out of 10!

Hidden Gem

I don’t know where to start. This property was amazing! Had my mom’s 75th birthday celebration with families and friends. This place has everything; something for all ages. The property was very nicely decorated inside and out, the layout/design was very well thought out. Every room had a unique detail and comfortable. Kitchen was functional and well stocked of dishes, plates, and appliances. Lots of seating spaces from living room to the dining area. Although it was a one story, it did not felt small due to the high ceilings. Then when you step outside to the back, it was truly a retreat from fishing in the pond to kicking back on a floating tube. Plenty of recreational spaces to hold a large event. All of our guests kept asking how I found this place. This place is a hidden gem. The property host provided excellent communication from day one and responsive throughout our stay. I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed this place. I am already thinking for the next opportunity.

Everywhere I travel I take notes of what I loved best about the property as well as all the things I didn’t like. To me, providing a place for folks to have fun and relax without a worry is the ultimate goal. Nothing makes me happier than guests telling me that it was beyond anything they ever expected.

Why they chose this property

Cypress is located in NorthWest Houston and is a fantastic community. It is high and dry so we never have to worry about flooding. This particular area has homes with acreage which we love because of the tranquility and privacy it affords.

What makes this property unique

We are a large family with 5 kids that enjoys the outdoors. When we saw this house we fell in love with it instantly. Many a celebration has been had here because the space really lends itself for family gatherings. There is so much to do other than enjoy the amazing 70,000 gallon pool with the swim up bar. The putting green is fantastic—and the pond being stocked is great for the guys and gals that love to fish. At night the twinkling lights make it a spectacular and special place.
