Elegance with Teton Views

After a busy day of playing, come home to this quiet, comfortable refuge with a view. Sink into the down loveseat or enjoy a glass of wine out on the deck as you watch the sun slide behind the Tetons. With long-term neighbors next door, you don't need to worry about loud parties or the like disturbing your peace.

This unit was remodeled and boasts granite countertops and travertine floors. The hearth is built of lichen-covered rock from Wyoming, and the working fireplace can chase away the chill of an evening or just add ambiance. This home is for those seeking a quiet, cozy, upscale home rental option. Those who enjoy cooking will find All-Clad and Caphalon pots and pans and a wide variety of baking dishes. There's a rice cooker, mini-chopper, blender, and crock-pot. Guests frequently comment on how surprisingly well-stocked the kitchen it.

This townhome is perfectly located halfway between Grand Teton National Park and the town of Jackson. Only ten minutes from town, you’re close enough to enjoy Jackson’s fine dining and amenities, but when you’ve had enough of the crowds you can return to this mountain-view town home retreat.

Grand Teton National Park is only minutes away. It offers spectacular wildlife viewing opportunities but isn’t the only place to enjoy the animals. From the grounds of Teton Shadows you may see moose, elk, bison, fox, coyotes, owls or eagles.

Teton Shadows is adjacent to Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis.

Lisa made checkin easy, with super clear instructions. Instructions for laundry, etc, were also clear, as were checkout instructions. The home is beautiful and well furnished, with a highly functional kitchen and with amazing views of the Tetons. Lisa checked periodically to make sure all was well and responded quickly to any identified needs. She’s a terrific host with a terrific place.

Enjoy The Tetons Off The Beaten Path

This is a wonderful place just a short drive north of Jackson. It's wonderfully quiet setting and private. The unit had everything we needed and very nicely furnished. Beautiful views of the Tetons. Conveniently close to the airport if you have family or friends flying in. The host and hostess were incredibly nice and attentive to anything we needed. Highly recommended.

Elegance with Teton views

The unit was great, just as advertised, and the owner was a pleasure to communicate with as needed. Neighbors on both sides (owners) were very friendly and welcoming. This was my 4th visit to the area, and I think the location is as good as it gets -- 10 minutes to the town of Jackson, 10 minutes into Teton National Park. Our vacation was the definition of 5 stars as far as the accommodations went!

Cozy Winter Stay with Resident Moose

Very nice cozy stay for our family of four adults. Great location north of Jackson and easy access to Grand Teton NP. Super easy check in with great communication from Lisa the owner. This was a winter stay and we were hoping to see animals. Saw moose in the area everyday, elk, deer and buffalo. The kitchen is nicely appointed. Great winter hiking nearby. We love Jackson anytime of year and will be back.

This place is PERFECT! Out of town just enough, in a very nice, clean, and beautiful place. Right out the back door you can enjoy the Tetons. The host was very kind and responsive. The place is everything it claims to be and more. Plenty of any and everything you could ever need. If we had to take off for anything at all, it would be the comfort of the smaller bedroom mattress. That's it! Will definitely stay here again when we return.

Apple TV in the condo allows guests to stream everything while on vacation that they do at home. It is in perfect working condition. Airplay was not a suggestion of the host.

Truly in the Shadow of the Tetons

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo—— The home was very clean and consistent with the photos. The owner was very easy to reach and very responsive. The location is just ideal —-about 1/2 way between the GTNP entrance and the congested downtown Jackson Hole. As such it was very quiet and the view of the Tetons were amazing! The town home was very comfortable and well-equipped. Just note that although there are 2 full bathrooms—- 1 is upstairs and 1 is downstairs —-but both bedrooms are upstairs —-this was fine for our family group of 2 but may not be ideal for 2 couples. (We also stayed in a similar configuration in West Yellowstone —so this may be the norm.)

The epitome of comfort nestled in nature’s grandeur.

This Jackson, WY condo is an unmatched gem situated against the backdrop of the majestic Teton Mountains. Only minutes from both the airport and the lively heart of downtown Jackson, it combines convenience with stunning seclusion. As keen hikers, the close proximity to the Teton trails made our adventure dreams a reality. Waking up to sweeping mountain vistas and winding down in the spacious, cozy, and well-appointed interiors felt surreal. The deck was our favorite spot, a perfect private viewing platform for the mountains and an amazing place to enjoy a morning coffee. Communication with the property owner could not have been better! In a nutshell, this condo is the epitome of comfort nestled in nature’s grandeur, making for an unmatched getaway. A Treasure in the heart of the Tetons!

We spent 5 glorious days in mid-September in the Tetons and staying at Lisa's home was truly a treat. This is NOT an investment property, it is her home filled with treasures from her family which makes it all the more special. The views are stunning . . . from the deck you see Mt. Rendezvous and the ski runs; from the upstairs master bedroom is a peek-a-boo view of the Grand Teton itself. The morning sunrise and the evening sunsets are best enjoyed from that deck for sure! We were even treated to 2 deer nestled in the berm just outside the patio door. Location is perfecto . . . just a few miles away from the south Jenny Lake entrance to the park and but a few miles from Antelope Flats & Mormon Row. If you are the kind of guest who treats your rentals as if they were your own, then this is the place for you . . . if not, this is not the place for you. M & D

The property itself is a townhouse/condo, one bathroom downstairs with a washer dryer, kitchen, dining table and full living room. We didn't even bother to try the TV, things are just too beautiful outside to do that. The 2 upstairs rooms & BR just fine, plenty of closet and drawer space and fans provided for each room. There isn't AC in the house but we never even noticed. Just set the heat thermostat down really low and open the windows as the sun goes down. It was great sleeping. The views from the back porch were absolutely phenomenal, with a clear view of the Teton Mountains. As the sun went down each day our favorite and most popular spot to hang out was the back porch, just breathtaking and so comfortable outside (maybe bring some Off wipes or bug spray depending on the time of year). The location of the condo is phenomenal, maybe the best benefit of the entire week of our stay. 7 minutes to JAC airport, maybe 15 minutes one direction to the grand teton entrance, 15 minutes or less the other direction to Jackson. You're within a short drive to each but then get to have this little oasis when you're done. We had no problems getting anywhere, so close to food, grocery and anything touristy you'd want to do. Communication with the owner/manager was fantastic from the time we arrived to when we left. Not too much, not too little. Great recommendations.If we decide on another week here, which we probably will in the winter, we'll be here no question.

This townhouse has a superb location in relation to the Jackson Hole airport, downtown Jackson, the Tetons (with a great view) and Yellowstone. The description of the property isn't quite accurate in that it's not 2 FULL bathrooms as it's more like 1 3/4 (just a shower in the smaller bathroom) and the larger bathroom upstairs is not actually a part of the master. The owner has a "no shoes policy" in order to keep her carpet clean; from an entry perspective that's doable but from the back entrance (patio) that's really difficult especially in light of the fact that there was noted sap ( even by the owner) on the patio and furniture. Townhome needs some overall updating. Kitchen is great but the living area/bedrooms need a little work! And just be sure to note that there's no AC! Fans help, but you still need to be able to get a legit airflow throughout the place; was really tough the last day or two in that temps were, unusually, in the high 80's. This townhome provided an overall satisfactory stay in the area.

The description of bathrooms on VRBO and corresponding photos indicate that "Bathroom 1" has a tub/shower, toilet, and sauna while "Bathroom 2" has a shower, toilet, and stackable washer and dryer. I cannot control sap coming off of a tree in the spring, but I can warn my guests to watch where they sit. Many people come to hike the trails and there isn't time to have the carpets professionally cleaned between each stay. I want the next guests to have clean carpets, too, so I ask people to remove their shoes. The living room and bedrooms are as photographed and described, with antiques and log beds. Like the majority of homes in Jackson Hole, Teton Shadows was built without air conditioning. We were as shocked as the rest of the West by the heat dome in June. The condo has powerful fans and I am researching other options as window ac units are not allowed. Closing windows and blinds during the heat of the day and opening them in the evenings when the temps drop into the 40s has always kept the condo cool.

Great location - Perfect Rental!

This was a perfect Jackson rental for a one week stay with friends. The location is great: just south of the airport which allowed a quiet setting with easy access to GTNP and the town of Jackson. The kitchen was well stocked, and everything was in working order. The owner checked in with us several times during our stay, which was a bonus. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental to others.

we enjoyed staying in this townhouse. It is in a great location with fabulous views! Both bedrooms are a nice size- one bathroom downstairs - one upstairs. A little bit of a problem with hot water for four people, but you have to spread out shower times - I rate this place a 5 out of five!

Why they chose this property

When I came to Jackson to work as a nurse at St. John's, I rented a room on top of East Gros Ventre Butte. When I was ready to buy, I knew that I wanted to live north of town for the best views and close proximetry to Grand Teton National Park. Teton Shadows was perfect!

What makes this property unique

The condo was my home prior to marriage. I care about the quality of experience my guests enjoy in my home. This is not a "beater rental" purchased as an investment for out of town owners.
