The view from the front deck is outstanding eat breakfast and watched a horse and buggy drive by was very special place. Thank you Cindy for the wonderful stay.
We had a wonderful stay at this farmhouse! The views were beautiful, and the house was clean, cozy, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in and check-out were easy and stress-free. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Cindy and Chris, who were both very friendly and welcoming.Just down the road was the weekly Amish bake sale we couldn’t resist stopping at, and we bought some of the most wonderful baked goods. Seeing an Amish horse-drawn carriage traveling down the road truly felt like stepping back in time.Five stars! Thank you for such a wonderful stay — we truly enjoyed every moment and would gladly visit again!
It was a great home, a nice very clean old farmhouse, that has been refurbished and painted. Sits on over 250 acres so you have your privacy. There were black flies in the bedrooms when we arrived, but easily removed. It is that time of year for these little pests. No AC, but at this time of year, not needed. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to visit Vermont.

Thanks Dennis. We do have cluster flies this time of year. They don't bite just collect around the windows. They vacuum up easily.
Everything was fine except the coffee maker did not work and the ice trays could have been cleaner.

About the host
Hosted by Cindy Delano
We bought the farm in Sept 2015 and lived in the old farmhouse for 2 years while we built the black house on the hill. We love renting to returning guests, families, locals that need more room, skiers, hikers, wedding guests, and explorers of the North East Kingdom.
Why they chose this property
This part of VT is wild and natural. There are no tourist traps here! We came here for the areas natural beauty and found the most beautiful of all are the people! Generations have owned and lived off the lands up here for centuries. Only recently have the Amish moved into the area.
What makes this property unique
This property is unique in many ways. The views are to die for! The farmhouse has a spaciousness that you will notice as soon as you enter. Trails on the property create a private hiking, or skiiing experience of peace and solitude
Our farm was purchased from the children of Nellie and Leo Davignon who ran a dairy farm here from the late 40's to the late 60's. It has been farmed for it's hay ever since.
