I'm from the midwest but have lived in 5 other states. I lived for 25 years in Southern California which is how I became very familiar with Cabo San Lucas Mexico. I can refer many established restaurants since we having been going for so many years. We really like this location since you can walk (if you like) to the marina and town. The resort however has many restaurants. There is a large fitness room and a spa located on the top floor with an awesome view.
Why they chose this property
I originally bought this property in early 2000 and then when the Grand Solmar was built I upgraded to Solmar so I own 2 times shares in the same area (sister resorts). We love it so much we bring family quite a bit. Playa Grande is a very family/children friendly resort with activities for the kids and a spa for mom and dad. Both resorts also have good restaurants and bars on site and swim up pool bars.
What makes this property unique
This Resort is located on what is called "lands end' so again you can walk to town and restaurants and the marina if you like or take a short taxi ride. It has several pools and a great Spa. There are also several restaurants on the propertie(s). Athough it has a beautiful ocean view it is not a swimming beach - the current is too strong. You can walk along the beach but not swim however there is no better view in Cabo!
