After she passed away at the age of 87, I decided to name the villa in her memory, to honor her legacy and the warmth she brought into our lives. As a child, I moved to North America, but the memories of our family Christmas vacations in The Whim remain vivid and treasured. The joy, laughter, and love we shared during those festive times make 87 Matilda Ville not just a home, but a symbol of familial bonds and cherished moments that continue to inspire and comfort me.

The reason I chose The Whim is deeply rooted in my cherished childhood memories. Growing up, I spent countless hours playing in the quiet, safe streets of this charming neighborhood, where the serenity allowed for endless adventures and a sense of freedom.
