About Debbie Mooney

Born and bred in Oregon, I have traveled the world and brought back its flavors to season the atmosphere of the gorgeous dream home that I have spent 2 years designing and building. I currently live and play in my homes in Bend and in Bali for part of each year. As I continue my international travels, I hope that you will enjoy the opportunity to experience all that is my home, Daughter Water Estate.

Debbie Mooney purchased this estate in 2011

Why Debbie Mooney chose Southern Crossing

Bend, located in Central Oregon, hosts multiple diverse summer and winter outdoor amenities and activities are of which are easily accessible by walking, biking or driving from our close in-town riverfront setting. I fell in love with Bend in 1972 and in 2001 realized my dream of retiring here.

What makes this estate unique

A luxury experience for those who seek only the very best.

Guestbook comments from the manager

We came to celebrate great friends and great times and serendipilously found a great house in a great town. We were overwhelmed with this homes beauty, the community's lively spirit and the awe inspiring nature. We leave a week later richer people from our experience, both individual, and shared. Hope to return, but in the meantime, we hope others who follow share the same spirit of camarderie we felt we found here.

Amazing place

We loved this house. Right on the river and close to everything in Bend. Kids never even turned on the TV. The patio is beautiful and the landscaping is amazing. would love to stay here all summer. Hope to return some day.

This house did not disappoint!

  • 5 of 5

We scheduled a family reunion in Bend, OR and needed a "big house" for family gatherings. The rooms were large and spacious and the outdoor patios were to die for. The view of the river was something else! Debbie Mooney, the real estate person was there to greet us and helped us get settled in. This house has excellent mojo. If I ever need a large house in Bend again, I would not look any further.

Great location, great views, great house.

  • 5 of 5

Comfortable house with incredible location on the river. Right next to footbridge that takes you towards downtown Bend (20 minute walk or 10 minute bike on town bikes provided by owner) and Old Mill district (10 minute walk). Almost everything needed for a week long stay. All appliances and amenities fully functioning. Only thing missing was access to cable or satellite TV. We didn’t miss it as so many things to do, but could see it being an issue for avid tv fans. I noticed an Apple TV but could not find a remote for it. Would love to rent again for sure!!!

Probably the best river rental in Bend!

  • 5 of 5

It's difficult to portray how awesome this place is. The house is roomy with a giant kitchen and amazing views. Outside you have three levels to enjoy the river. Level 1 being the deck with a hot tub, which steps down to a patio with furniture, which steps down to the river level with more furniture and river access. While enjoying the river view you can watch people come down the rapids on the right, and floating the calm section to the left.

The location is also amazing as it's walking distance to both downtown and the old mill area, so everything is very accessible. We can't wait to return.

Wonderful home and property manager

  • 5 of 5

The house is awesome and the manager is super helpful! House is well equipped with everything you need to host large groups (ample dishes, great appliances, kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, etc.). Location is great right on the river and a short walk to restaurants, breweries, and town. Perfect place for a vacation!

Amazing weekend at the house that has it all!

  • 5 of 5

If you think this house is amazing by the pictures, just wait until you step foot in the door! The patio and view are priceless, probably the best river front patio in all of central Oregon. The house is located in a premier location to downtown and all the west side breweries, we parked our cars and never used them again until sadly we had to leave. There is a big park next door with views up a down the river.

The house comes with kayaks, bikes and a dock that you can swim from. A kitchen that is great for cooking and entertaining as well as a hotub with a view to unwind from all the days adventures.

Our group loved every second of our experience and would do it again in a heartbeat!

Special shout out to Debbie, she was instrumental in making sure we had everything we needed. It has not been my experience with VRBO to have someone there to show me around the house, but this was a most welcome experience. There is so much to take in and to navigate that having a person there to show you all the bells and whistles really helped enhance the experience. Thank you Debbie!
