Why Kathy Martone chose Eureka Springs West
We are thrilled to have our 'dream come true' place of our own in this magical and charming little town. Over the years we have both enjoyed many extended stays in Eureka Springs and we know you will find much to enjoy during your time in our lovely little cottage, located in the historic district and within walking distance of the historic Crescent Hotel and just off Highway 62. You are also within walking distance of downtown with all the quaint shops and restaurants, as well as nearby historic spas.
What makes this Cottage unique
We were excited to find this lovely home in the historic district, located just a short walk from the heart of town. We fell in love with the open space as you enter the house, with it's lovely windows and hardwood floors. We both like color and were delighted to find walls splashed with vibrant jewel tones of red, purple, and green. The yard seemed enchanted with crystals and statues of gnomes, elves, and fairies scattered about. We felt like we had discovered a magical home away from home.

Clean, and close to food and shopping!
We enjoyed our stay in Eureka Springs. This cottage was a great find! It was clean, cozy, and very close to all the shops and restaurants (5-10 minute walk). I would stay here again if I were visiting Eureka Springs.
I would stay again
The property looks just as it does in the photos. Very nice and clean. Four adults stayed the weekend and we did not have any problems or complaints. The owners have upgraded to zoned heat and air in all the rooms and we had no problems being too hot or cold. We have been to Eureka Springs many times and this was the first time to stay on the west side of town. The walk into town and back is not bad at all. And we also took the trolly a couple of times. So you can park your cars in the driveway and not get in them again til it is time to go back home. If you have never been to Eureka, the streets were built for horse and wagons. They are very narrow. You really don't want to drive unless it is necessary.
The owner was very easy to work with and very nice. I would recommend this property to a friend.
It was great; however, would have loved to know that we could have rented one room. We also didn’t
Nice cottage. Complete. Would have liked to know we could have rented one or two rooms beforehand. We also didn’t care for the noncurtains on shower. Would have liked more TVs and more comfortable seating in tv area. It was hard to get in and out of driveway. Cottage had so many things available, but a little scary that keys were left in same place every time!
We are always sorry whenever any of our guests are not completely satisfied with our cottage. On our VRBO listing description, it states that it is always possible to rent fewer than 3 bedrooms. We chose to install stained glass windows in the bathroom primarily for privacy although the window looks out onto our driveway and the closest neighbor is at least 25 feet away on the other side of the driveway and their view is completely obstructed by dense vegetation (bamboo trees). So it is very perplexing to us that this is a concern. The living room - like the entire house - is quite small and we have struggled over the years to equip the room with as much comfortable seating as possible. We had thought the love seat, purple soft cushioned oversized chair and the two other upholstered chairs would be sufficient. Parking in Eureka Springs is always an issue with narrow winding streets and most properties don't even have parking. We felt lucky to find this house complete with its own driveway even though it is a bit tricky to enter. Finally we are totally flummoxed by the key issue as we do not know what these guests are referring to. We always leave a set of keys out for our guests but once the guests arrive, the keys stay with them, we presume.
Really nice and conveniently located place to stay.
Perfect size with 3 bedrooms. Highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
Very comfortable and within walking distance of downtown Eureka Springs. We sat on the porch each evening with a glass of wine. Also just a short walk from the Crescent Hotel. Very accommodating owners who are just a phone call away. Would definitely recommend.
Had a great time on our eureka springs trip.. the cottage was perfect!! Would definitely stay again!!
Charming, Victorian-era, romantic town nestled deep within the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. Eureka Springs was founded around its numerous healing springs, which became world famous. Lovely restored buildings harken back to the late 1800's. Housed within these historic structures are restaurants, bars, Victorian-style bed and breakfasts, shops, boutiques, and art galleries. Nearby are many sight-seeing destinations, such as Ozark Mountain Hoe Down, Intrigue Theater, Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Thorncrown Chapel, Christ of the Ozarks, and Beaver Lake.
