What an amazingly beautiful home! The kitchen, dining area, and living room are wide open with a stunning view of the lake and ideal for entertaining large groups. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and space to spread out. The game room in the basement also has an outstanding view and lots of fun activities, including, pool, foosball, ping pong table, and a big screen tv. The wall-to-wall sliders on both levels take you straight out to the gorgeous outdoor entertaining areas. We spent a lot of time at the firepit by the dock with some of the group fishing, some cooking out on the grill, and some relaxing by the firepit. The ease of rental and the communication is superb. We will definitely be back!

We had such a nice weekend away here. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, the property was lovely and well maintained. We absolutely would come back to stay again.

Great property with tons to do! The two living room set up was perfect for a bigger group. The fire pit was great! We will absolutely be looking to come back.

This home is amazing. We had multiple generations from ages 1 to 75 and everyone had a great time. With the multiple living spaces and activities this home provided there was something for everyone to do. Best family vacation ever.

This was the perfect lakefront getaway for my family! We loved the location and all it offered! We’d definitely stay again! Communication with host was awesome .

First I want to start off by giving a high five and a huge THANKS to JoAnn, the host and Greg, the caretaker . They make a great team! The communication is superb! I hosted my last retreat in Bethany Beach last year in which we had a beautiful home and had a blast. But this year my cohost and I decided to try a new location. So I did my usual task of searching and found Lake Anna in which my daughter had rave reviews about the area. So I came upon Sunset Shores which elated me, but shopped around to compare. NOTHING compared to JoAnn’s home. They had some amenities like hers but I kept being drawn to hers, my first instinct. I emailed my daughter the link about this home and all she could say was WOW! The reviews were so inviting! Believe the pics don’t do justice . We booked it right away b/c it books quickly depending on the popular time of year. I made the ladies aware of the location and such to prepare. Many in the group kept say I couldn’t top the last venue we had last year. I said”YES I DID!”I left them to imagine what the home would like until the month before our event in which I sent them a sneak peek of just the front of this home on the lake. I wanted to capture their reactions one by one the day of our arrival. I had seen all of the pics and all of the amenities and I, myself had a WOW factor when I checked in on our big day. AMAZING! To see their faces and expressions as they arrived were priceless!!The furnishings, over the top best kitchen around providing all you need and more-2 ovens, ice machines, lots of refrigerators with drawers even, plenty of seating to accommodate your guests for meals ,beautiful bedrooms with the private bathrooms, balconies/terraces, linens provided, huge bar and movie room , many fun loving activity options as noted that we never had to drive anywhere else for entertainment at all!.We were really impressed and YES we will be back.! This is the most beautiful property we have ever stayed at. From the gorgeous views from every room in the house to the paradise outside, the most beautiful sunsets you can imagine, this is the ultimate relaxing getaway and perfect for family and fun. Besides the beautiful home inside which was perfect for us with everything we could have asked for and then some, outdoor view with private beach/volleyball, gorgeous patio and firepit with fishing and fun for kids, what was even better was the host/owner Elizabeth. She was so helpful and accommodating to all of our needs and she is a 5star host and the best you can ask for. If you’re looking for a place to get away, this experience checks off all the boxes and overall the best trip we have taken. Our family will be back for sure and can’t say enough about Elizabeth and this beautiful home. Thank you again!
