Great Stay

A very nice place to spend a night or two. The hosts are pleasant and keep the place clean. The decor is certainly not modern, but is comfortable. Don’t think you can find a better stay for the cost.

Nice stay

Overall nice place. Easy to find. Great communication with host. Only complaint is mattress was uncomfortable. Personal preference I know but it was the only thing I wasn’t a fan of.

Visit to meet the granddaughter

Very easy to get to. The owner is very helpful. If you have any issues he is there to help. The area was perfect for what we were there for. We could go fishing and see the granddaughter in the same day because we were in the middle of it all!!

Will stay again

Clifton is so wonderful and our stay was excellent. Apt is 2 miles from downtown Mobile and 1 mike from the interstate. The apaetmentvis dates and cooled by a window unit, but we are a very laid back couple. Lots of room to move around. The bed is extremely comfortable but it is standard size. This would be perfect for any events in downtown Mobile

Mobile Vacation

I wanted to come see a friend from Mobile, but spent more time by myself. Clifton and his son were gracious to show me the space, they had snacks and other necessities like pamphlets to see what there is to in Mobile. They answered any questions I had, even helped give me a ride to the nearest Winn Dixie since I flew into Alabama and had no car. They made my stay wonderful and made the apartment feel like home away from home! I would love to stay here again and highly recommend it! 😊

Decent Place to Stay

Honestly, the stay was fine. I'm a simple guy and this place was simple. No glitz or fancy but it's not priced that way. It's a little outdated but if you don't care about that then it's fine. The entire town of Mobile is sketchy but the property had a deadbolt on the gate and front door plus another lock up at the apartment door as well so I felt fine. The property managers were super nice. Only complaint was the Wi-Fi signal was not great and had to use my phones hotpot for internet on my laptop. I didn't let them know until I checked out as it wasn't a big deal to me but he said he wished I had. He said he was going to fix for future guests and offered me a discount if I ever come back, which I might for work. Once again super nice people and a decent place to stay.

Nice Alternative to Staying in a Hotel

Very clean and quiet 2nd story condo in a well maintained building on the edge of a residential area near downtown Mobile. Assigned off-street parking place. Secure, private entrance. Less than 10 miles from the airport. Two blocks to Airport Blvd. which is lined with restaurants, drugstores, gas stations, and shopping. Close to a Walmart. Unit is well described in the VRBO listing. Windows with blinds on three sides. Comfortable bed. Good WiFi, but no cable. The small kitchen is nice, but only a microwave for cooking. Dishes for two plus paper plates and plastic cups if you don't want to wash dishes. Coffee, eggs, condiments and a bowl of candy included. Mr. Sons contacted me a couple of times to make sure everything was working and I had everything I needed. He lives on the lower level but is easily reached by phone or email.

Excellent property - clean, comfortable and helpful

I have stayed at many properties around the world over 30 years and this property was one of the best ones yet. The owner was always available, helpful and professional. I felt like a member of their family if I needed anything. The property was very private and owner was extremely respectful of my space. This apartment was spacious, had very clean facilities and many nice touches - shampoo, popcorn, dish soap, etc. I was never out of anything and only had to ask for instant service. There was amazing closet space, excellent location, powerful water pressure and perfect cooling/heating capabilities. There are many excellent restaurants, grocery stores and historical sites within 5-10 minutes. There is a beautiful park across the way and access to major highways within a few minutes. The owner has a lifetime of local knowledge to share with you, if needed. Finally, the price was the best I found anywhere in Mobile, Alabama. I will definitely be staying here on my next visit. Do yourself a favor and stay here. Its well worth it in many ways.

Mardi Gras weekend

It was very close to where we needed to be. Owners were very nice. Decor very old fashioned but homey. Just wished it had curtains because the room was beaming at 7am and it woke me up.

The accomodations were clean and perfectly located, close to downtown but far enough from throngs of people. The hosts exemplified Southern hospitality: helpful, great communication, outstanding Mobile ambassadors and they treat you like family.

My girlfriend and I loved the property. It was perfect for the two of us. Very quite, great location for what we wanted to do on vacation. Less than an hour to Dauphin Island and other beaches. 5 minute drive to local dining and culture area. Owner was very accommodating. My girlfriend left her favorite pillow and the owner mailed it back to her. We loved it! We will definitely be staying here again.

Great little room in central Mobile!!

Room was was very affordable, convenient, small, without fancy amenities if you need that look elsewhere. Clean and the host and family were gracious and nice people. If your just looking for a place to rest close to everything with the basics look no further.

Great location

Stayed here for Mardi Gras, perfect location and good price. The host made check in easy . The apartment had everything anyone would need for the stay, also was very clean.

We loved our time here - the hosts were warm, friendly and accommodating! After a day exploring the area it felt like we were returning home! The apartment was roomy yet cozy at the same time - perfect for us. We really enjoyed the electric fireplace for our evenings - very relaxing! Great location - wonderful apartment - awesome hosts!

comfortable with all we needed

The property is an older building in the central part of the city. It is well cared for and Clayton and son do a very good job of making sure we had everything we needed. They also helped with planning what we would do for our time there. We enjoyed our time in the area with plenty to do and see. This property is well located to help us do that.

Truly a home away from home

Renting the property online was easy and we had instant communication from the owners. Clifton and Damian met us when we arrived. I cannot say enough positive things about the apartment. It felt like home. Clifton and Damian have honestly thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable. The shower is amazing; instant hot water, that never ran out, and the pressure was like a massage. Plenty of towels and extra bed linens. Dishes and silverware. Snacks, condiments, soaps, shampoos, so many extras that is hard to list them all. And even with all of that, I honestly felt like if I needed anything else, they would have been glad to get it. The location of the property is great. Well lit and very secure. I swear, no matter what we were looking for, the GPS took us there in 7 minutes or less. Shopping, grocery stores, the best restaurants, museums, the Saenger Theater, parks, everything. All of that to say, we highly recommend these owners and their properties. We are already planning a return visit to Mobile and the date will be determined by when this property is available.

Great value and wonderful property owner. Stayed a few weeks for business in this Midtown property. It's in walking distance to restaurants, a park and Walgreens. Planning to stay on my next business trip.
