The tipi was beautiful, and so was the property. The private bathroom was also great. We had a small problem at check in, but the host was very helpful and solved it for us quickly with great communication.

Enchanting and immersive experience. My wife loved the tub and our neighbors cooked us breakfast on the Blackstone grill. Absolutely recommend. Cell coverage is tricky so download check-in instructions peior to arival. Absolutely recommend for a couples retreat!

Be prepared to haul luggage

This place is cool and different. However, nowhere in the description do they tell you that you have to haul your luggage down a hill from the parking lot and then up a hill to the lodging (on a gravel path using a wagon). This took a tremendous amount of effort and heavy breathing as we had luggage from a long trip. Otherwise, the place was great. I would encourage management to turn off the scent sprayer that goes off every hour or so, making a strange noise that you are not used to hearing at night. The place was clean, roomy, and very unique. Great place to stay, but pack light!

El Mistico Ranch provided us with a magical experience. I surprised my husband with an overnight getaway that included fishing at Lake Bonito and staying the night in Lobo Teepee. We loved everything about our accommodations. The ranch is adorable, with fairy lights everywhere, eclectic decorations hanging from the tree branches, hammocks in various areas around the grounds, a lovely pet cemetery, a large, well-stocked Little Free Library inside a bus or van. There were signs with wise words in both English and Spanish along the path around the ranch. We very much enjoyed walking around the compound at sunset. Our teepee was perfect. Very thoughtfully, and authentically decorated. A comfortable bed. Small refrigerator and coffee station, little kitchenette area with sink. Everything was spotless. AC and fans kept us comfortable all night despite the summer heat. I absolutely loved everything about it.The bathroom was in a small building behind the teepee. The path between the two was well lighted with motion-detecting lights. And when they went out, the night sky was peppered with stars. Hope to return again and bring the family.

Amazing views that were breathtaking around the property. The tipi experience was wonderful, as we celebrated our 30th Wedding anniversary. My fitness was challenged as we left the parking lot up to the tipi area with our luggage on the provided cart taking us 15 minutes, so be prepared for that endeavor. I plan to come back with my adult children to explore and enjoy this beautiful property.
