Lovely Deer Valley Condo

  • 5 of 5

I went to Park City for a brief vacation in August including a night at Deer Valley Festival. I stayed at Foxglove #11 and am glad I did. This condo is walking distance to everything. Walked to the music festival and avoided the line of traffic when the program was over. Walked into town and didn't have to deal with parking meters. Also, the bus stops right outside the complex for free rides anywhere in town. The condo was very clean, very comfortable and stylish. Loved the new leather sofa!

Foxglove #11

We enjoyed a great visit to Park City, with a big thanks to the lovely condo where we stayed. It is beautifully decorated, spacious and comes with all the amenities one would want in a rental. It had everything we needed for a carefree stay, plenty of cooking equipment, comfortable beds, big fluffy towels, plus speedy Internet and cable TV. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was an extra plus. Right outside the back door is the well maintained hot tub.

The condo is ideally located within an easy walk to the Deer Valley Lodge and in the other direction and even easier walk down hill to Main Street with its shopping and fabulous restaurants. The bus stop is just a few steps away if you don't wish to walk or drive.

We enjoyed a great vistit to Park City and would highly recommend this condo to others.

Deer Valley # 11

  • 2 of 5

It was difficult getting initial information on pricing and availability of unit. Finally got that response but I think the process could be handled better and quicker. Once I arrived the TV's were not working so I had to make a call and someone came by to "sync:" the satellite and the TV's. We had trouble with the front door lock also. The furnishings were fine and thank goodness more than enough fans since the units are not air conditioned and the temp was 85+ every day. We looked forward to enjoying the hot tub but the jets didn't work and the hot tub lights didn't work , and temperature of the hot tub wasn't very warm. The back patio had caulking tubes and shingles from men repairing the adjoining roofs.

Owner's Response: Dear Vicci, Thank you for visiting Park City and for your business. We hope you enjoyed your stay regardless of the few issues you encountered. Regarding the inital quote and property information, we send that out within 3 minutes of any inquiry to all potential Guests. As you wanted to negotiate on price a bit those things take a little longer, as we need to have it approved by the Reservations Manager prior to doing it. Happy we could resolve the TV's quickly for you and for future Guests, all you need do is review the instructions on the TV cabinet which shows all you need press is the "All On" button and everything turns on automatically. Happy all of the fans helped offset the heatwave we were having in Park City too. In speaking with the Hot Tub Manager, everything was logged and working well prior to your arrival. The hot tub is always left at 101 degrees before a Guest arrival and in speaking with her, she said that following your departure the hot tub panel was locked - due to pressing a series of buttons, so that likely happened by pushing too many buttons at once and/or a certain sequence of buttons. Wish we had known so that we could have resolved that while you were in house. Thank you again for your business and feedback. We hope you visit Park City again. Best Regards, Reservations Team, iTrip Park City

Great Location

  • 5 of 5

First of all the staff of ITrip & Park City Vacation Properties were excellent. I own a vacation rental company in Paris and so I understand their job and what it takes! We go to Park City every year and I will rent through them again.

The apartment was in a great location and it was very clean. Unfortunately the owner of this apartment is not making the much needed updates. The beds and linen while clean were very old and desperately in need of changing. We had to go out and purchase our own pillows and pillow cases for this apartment because they were so old, flat & lumpy. The bed in the master was very worn and extremely uncomfortable. The twin beds seemed a bit better but too are in need of changing. Some of the towels showed much wear and one of them had a big hole in it. There were plenty of them however. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything but there were many different kind of glasses & cups, not a complete set and the plastic cups were very worn. The sofa was very worn and sunken in, We could not have more than 1 of us on the sofa at the same time because it meant that someone had to be uncomfortable. The carpet too is in need of changing because of the multiple ripples.

My hope is that the owner of this condo will make some of these changes soon so that the cozy condo in a great location could always receive 5 stars.

Owner's Response: Dear Lisa, Thank you for choosing to stay at our Deer Valley Foxglove condo and for sharing your memorable experience and feedback with us and future Guests. Your strong recommendation of our business and the services we provide is most welcome and we appreciate you sharing that; I'll be sure to share your feedback with the rest of the team! Thrilled to also hear that the location was well suited to you trip and that you found the property to be very clean, well stocked and comfortable for your stay. Your feedback that the beds, linens and sofa is in need of replacing is much appreciated and we will be sure to pass those items along to the Owner. Regarding the carpet, perhaps it just needs to be re-stretched for the time being, as the Owner is considering to replace it instead with hardwood flooring in the summer time. Thank you again for your business, recommendation and detailed review. We look forward to your next visit to Park City and welcome your continued business. Best Regards, Reservations Team

A return visit

  • 5 of 5

Recently stayed one week in Unit #11 at Foxglove during August of 2016.

Had not been back to Park City for about 4 years. Forgot how comfortable this unit is for a week visit.

The floor plan was perfect for our stay. Although we didn't use the hot tube in the backyard, the coziness and western motif, is very relaxing.

However its best feature is location. Less than a 12 minute walk and you are on main street in Park City and the bus terminal.

Similarly, 12 minutes in the opposite direction gets you to the Deer Valley Lodge.

And a few steps out the front door of the condo is a bus stop.

We like morning walks and geocaching. We found plenty of alternatives for both in the Deer Valley/Park City area.

Highly recommend.

Great for family of 4 ski weekend- narrow garage

  • 4 of 5

This condo was lovely, well maintained and quite comfortable for us with our two teenage sons. It is as described on its site. 6 people would have been too tight for us here, but it could be doable with 2 sleeping on the couch. One thing to note if you are skiing, I made a mistake in our rental car and rented a Jeep Cherokee one size smaller than our usual to fit our skis and everything. Good thing too! There is no way the larger SUVs fit in this garage- the Jeep fit with two inches on each side into this garage and mirrors in and with all the snow in driveway plowed, it's a pretty tight angle going in. We did not see anywhere else that we could have parked, so were grateful that I we had the standard, not large SUV. Also, the hot tub was nice however, we were unable to get the temperature above 99 and with us in it, it fell to 96 and wouldn't go higher. Brrr. It was standard hot tub, so not sure why this happened. If it has some special instruction, that should have been included. We didn't try to call as ours was a short stay, and we didn't want to deal with it. Decor is very good, updated. Kitchen has all the serving ware, cooking utensils that you could need. Non paper coffee filter would be a nice touch to add so that we didn't have to buy filters if using our own coffee. Would stay here again if hot tub situation solved. Comfortable beds. 3 story and not floor zoned for thermostat but windows open on top floor master and ceiling fan solves the heat rising problem easily with rest of flat comfortable. We had a fantastic stay. Closest to DV but the valley is so close, everything is close from here.

Owner's Response: Dear Stephanie, Thank you for choosing to stay at our Deer Valley Drive condo and for sharing your feedback with us. We're very happy to know that you had a comfortable stay, found the place to be very clean and that you liked the decor, layout and kitchen. Great feedback on the garage and with regards to the hot tub, you're not alone; it has been an especially cold winter (-20F/0F), which has made it hard for hot tubs to stay exceptionally hot. I'd also like to mention that there ARE guest parking spaces at the complex suitable for a large SUV, just outdoors. We're sorry about the trouble for that, but it's great to know that you had a fun family weekend regardless. Thank you again for your business and review. We hope you choose to visit Park City again. Best Regards, Reservations Team iTrip Park City
