Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The location is beautiful, quiet, and super convenient if you like staying in town. The property itself is tucked away and really lovely.
Unfortunately, the accommodations, at least Unit 2, were disappointing for the price.
There was no mini fridge, glasses, mugs, or kettle. I knew there wasn’t a kitchen, but honestly assumed those basic amenities would still be included, since they’re standard in hotels, Airbnbs, and even budget motels. I actually had to buy bags of ice daily to keep drinks cold in the sink.
The biggest issue was the bedding. The sheets are polyester and had makeup and snot stains on them and clearly had not been changed. I took photos and sent them to the owner. Before I even received a reply, I found a staff member who gave me fresh sheets and pillowcases, which I changed myself.
The eventual response from the owner was an obligatory “Sorry for your experience,” with no offer to compensate for the situation.
The towels were old, once-white-turned-beige and scratchy The room overall felt very tired with noticeable wear and tear throughout.
Communication was timely, but ultimately not helpful. Overall, I felt ripped off and would not stay here again at this price point.
