Inspired by Zen Buddhism; WABI-SABI means 'finding beauty in imperfection and having a profound appreciation for nature'.... and our home is all of that. Refined and casually sophisticated in a glorious natural setting that is a spiritual experience.

The house is built on a 1/2 acre of magnificent oceanfront property, just steps from the ocean with all of the modern conveniences. Enjoy spectacular 300 degree sweeping vistas of the Anguilla coast with no neighbouring homes, construction or obstructions for miles. There are two air conditioned ensuite king bedroom/bathroom Pavillions and a Main Pavillion with the Living area and Kitchen all surrounded by greenheart decks. The kitchen is all stainless steel appliances, Asian cabinetry, restaurant quality cookware and dinnerware and the entire house is furnished with the highest quality indoor and outdoor designer furniture.

Our home is in a truly unique location in Anguilla. Even though we are surrounded by nature, the house - in the geographical centre of the Island - is easily accessible from the main road and just 5 minutes from the best foodmarkets and beaches in Anguilla. The ocean breaks on the reef in front of the house and the prevailing trade-winds keep the house comfortable year round and the mosquitoes away.

The pelicans, doves, frigate birds and gulls are always present as well as the occasional migrating whale or dolphin; so this is place for you to simply relax, reflect and not be disturbed by the outside world.

Start your day with yoga on the deck, walk the coastline or simply slow down and allow time to unfold before you. There is a coral path that leads to a tiny sand beach in front of the house but please note; while we are right on the ocean it is unadvisable - except for experienced swimmers - to swim in these open ocean waters. Anguillians swim and fish here but the currents can be strong and access from the coral is a learned skill. There is another small sandy beach close to our home, just a minute walk away, where you can sunbathe and take a quick dip but for recreational swimming you can use our 40 foot saltwater pool or visit the wonderful nearby beaches; either Sandy Hill Bay or Shoal Bay East just a few minutes drive from the house.

ABOUT THE KITCHEN; You need a kitchen that is easy to figure out and maintain and this one has been designed that way based on our travel and restaurant experience. Open, practical and very well-appointed with plenty of storage, counterspace, top of the line cookware, a Viking restaurant gas range and stainless steel appliances.

Master bedroom/bathroom pavillion. A kingsize bed and a large private ensuite bathroom with double sinks, a sunken tub, bidet and large dressing cupboard.

Guest Bedroom/bathroom. A kingsize bed and private ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and a 32' TV.

Renting a home can be a leap of faith as the property may not be exactly as it is represented. Rest assured these pictures do not do our homes justice; the live settings are even more spectacular than the pictures and we have provided as much accurate information as possible so that you will not encounter any unexpected issues when you arrive or during your stay. We provide extensive notes on our home and Anguilla which we will gladly share with you.

About Bobby or Marley Sniderman

The owners travelled the world and throughout the Caribbean before deciding to have a winter home in Anguilla. They learned of Anguilla through their familiarity with Nantucket, where they have a summer home. Both of these remarkable Islands have many of the same wonderful features of beautiful beaches, fine dining, safety and welcoming people.

We chose this property because it is right on the ocean, in a spectacular private setting with no neighboring homes either east or west. It is in the geographical centre of Anguilla, easily accessible from the main road and just 5 minutes from the best foodmarkets and beaches in Anguilla. There are Anguillian homes and friendly neighbors on the road to our home so we are not isolated and are part of the local community. It is just far enough away to be completely private but close enough to easily acquire all the provisions and services you will need.

In addition to the many activities that are available in Anguilla, we have a fine surfboard. There is a break at Meads and Savannah Bay which is worth the effort of getting there. For tennis players, we are members of the Anguilla Tennis Academy and a stay at our home will provide you with complimentary playing privileges at the finest tennis facility in the Caribbean.

For roadbikers, Anguillian cyclists travel the well-paved roads preparing for the annual John T Tour around the Island. Vehicles respect riders and bike rentals can be arranged but bring your own clip-in shoes, pedals and a helmet.
