This house was gorgeous, spacious, and had an excellent layout. It was well appointed and very comfortable for our group of 10 (including a 3yo, 4yo, and 6yo). The lake access was excellent for the little ones especially; they could walk into the water or jump off the dock. Everything was very clean. One caution is the yard from the house to the lake is on an incline and may be difficult to navigate for people with mobility issues so keep that in mind when booking. The biggest con that warrants the 4 star is the oven. Throughout our stay, the oven was inconsistent at getting to and staying at temp. We called Railey maintenance and they came out within a few hours. They told me that it was user error and instructed me how to set and use the oven. Even following their instructions, it only got to temp and stayed at temp 50% of the time. So either the oven (which is gourmet and only 2 weeks old) is defective or incredibly difficult to use - regardless it was a big cause of stress for me as I tried to cook for 10 people for a weeklong stay for which I had been planning, packing, and shopping over several weeks.
