Guestbook comments from the manager

Thank you so much for letting us rent the cabin over the holidays. It certainly gave Scott a look at why WA is called the Evergreen state! You sure were right about the ELK...HOLY SMOKES! We decided to take an early morning dip in the hot tub and saw a herd of about 20 elk go by. We thought we might see one or two way back in the woods; but had no earthly idea there was a trail within 30 yards of the cabin. They are a magnificent sight! Next time, we're taking the camera out with us. Scott was also thrilled with the drive up to Paradise. He said he can't wait to see the glaciers and, oh yeah, Mt. Rainier, when it's actually out. See you soon.

Wonderful Cabin at Mt. Rainier

  • 5 of 5

We had such a great time here. Everything in the cabin has been recently remodeled, and besides being gorgeous, it is comfortable and has all the amenities we needed. It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub was very clean and so nice to relax in after a long day sightseeing and hiking around.

It was obvious that the owners put their heart and soul into this place, and I will definitely return again many times, as well as recommend this to others!

We took some nice strolls down the quiet country lane across the way, and also hiked down into the back of the cabin's property. It is nice to be so surrounded by nature. There were even deer in the yard when we got up one morning!

Very cozy and comfortable home, great location!

  • 5 of 5

This house was great - very comfortable - cozy and homey. Fully supplied kitchen, great location, beautiful backyard. The hot tub was a little overly chlorinated the first night, but after the first use it aired out and was great the second night. We had an issue with no hot water in one of the bathrooms which was quickly fixed by the owners while we were out on the mountain. We appreciated how helpful the owners were. Highly recommend and would come back again!

Quaint, yet roomy. All the comforts of home

  • 5 of 5

Stayed over the 2017 Christmas holiday. I was there with my husband n 2 brothers n sister in law. There was already a lighted Christmas tree. Exchanging gifts on Christmas morning was awesome with the fireplace going. Had everything we needed to prepare our holiday ham dinner. There was snow all around n the trees looked nice. It was great. We will be back. Next time we will use the hot tub.
