Guestbook comments from the manager

Thank you so much for letting us rent the cabin over the holidays. It certainly gave Scott a look at why WA is called the Evergreen state! You sure were right about the ELK...HOLY SMOKES! We decided to take an early morning dip in the hot tub and saw a herd of about 20 elk go by. We thought we might see one or two way back in the woods; but had no earthly idea there was a trail within 30 yards of the cabin. They are a magnificent sight! Next time, we're taking the camera out with us. Scott was also thrilled with the drive up to Paradise. He said he can't wait to see the glaciers and, oh yeah, Mt. Rainier, when it's actually out. See you soon.

Wonderful Cabin at Mt. Rainier

  • 5 of 5

We had such a great time here. Everything in the cabin has been recently remodeled, and besides being gorgeous, it is comfortable and has all the amenities we needed. It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub was very clean and so nice to relax in after a long day sightseeing and hiking around.

It was obvious that the owners put their heart and soul into this place, and I will definitely return again many times, as well as recommend this to others!

We took some nice strolls down the quiet country lane across the way, and also hiked down into the back of the cabin's property. It is nice to be so surrounded by nature. There were even deer in the yard when we got up one morning!

Super location for Mt Rainier

  • 5 of 5

Wildwood had all that we needed for a very comfortable three nights. We hiked at the Park, so the location is perfect. It is super clean and the kitchen is well stocked. We had a leak in the kitchen faucet which was fixed immediately when they were notified. The hot tub felt great after our hiking days along with the comfortable beds and fluffy towels. I would happily stay at Wildwood again!

Comfortable house close to park entrance

  • 5 of 5

My family really enjoyed staying at this house. It took less than 10 minutes to get to the park entrance. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. There were enough beds and linens for our family of five. The kitchen was sufficient. Our family also enjoyed the hot tub a couple of nights after hiking in Mt. Rainier park.
