The cabin is located only a few miles from the Mount Rainier NP entrance. There is one brand new queen memory foam bed in the sleeping loft which is accessed by a fold out ladder. There is a small, but functional bathroom and a beautifully stocked kitchen. The cabin has recently been remodeled with everything new from floors, to paint to appliances. The cabin is located a thirty second stroll to the the Nisqually river. There is wifi and a new flat screen television and DVD player. There is also a great front deck to enjoy a morning coffee at the bistro table or make a nice dinner and take in the quiet nature of the area. It's a peach.

Why Amelia Chavez chose Ashford
This is a gem in Ashford. We purchased the cabin recently and got it up to date! It's conveniently located, comfortable, warm and functional. It's unplugged with no cell reception but we did have wifi setup just in case you need to stay in touch a little bit, if you want. Cabins in Ashford are getting expensive to rent, and we wanted to offer a more affordable option that is still up to par.

Perfect A Frame getaway
Perfect location for exploring south of Mt Ranier National Park. We loved this cosy cabin, great for a couple.
Thanks so much Natalie! So glad to hear you had a good time!
Very cozy, clean, and private cabin.
The cabin was in a great location for getting to Mt. Rainier National Park. It was very clean and they had covered a lot of little details to make our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.
If anybody is coming in from out of town, stop at the nearest big town before you get into this area if you plan to cook for yourselves at all. There's really not a decent grocery store in town that we found. It all worked out great though because we ate at Copper Creek (within 5 minutes of the cabin) all three nights and it was wonderful as well. You must get the blackberry pie.
Lovely relaxing place to spend a weekend
We really enjoyed our stay at the A-Frame. It's set up with everything you need for a very relaxing few days away!
Great little cabin for the weekend get away. Loved being so close to mt Rainier for day adventures and then coming back and being able to make a fire each night, make some dinner and watch a movie. One thing we could have used in the kitchen is an ice tray. Wonderful stay!!
It was the perfect Christmas present for me! My husband and I were able to get some quality alone time which we haven’t gotten in a while, in a beautiful cabin surrounded by nature. The owners had helpful notes around th cabin along with a complimentary bottle of wine which was a great bonus!
There was no firewood like was advertised. So I went and bought some. The axe that was there looks like the previous user tried to break rocks with it. So I bought an axe when I got firewood. Other than that it was cozy.
So sorry to disappoint Daniel on this one. Apologies for the false advertisement. The pics do show firewood at the cabin, but that’s from when I was remodeling it. Our pre- trip informational documents clearly state that firewood be supplied by the renter and gives suggestions on where to pick it up for five bucks. I’ll make some adjustments in the listing to make it more clear and avoid the confusion in the future.
