I have stayed in quite a few rental properties and cannot recall one being cleaner than that cottage. I enjoyed a 2 week stay and found the home to be well furnished and comfortable. Elizabeth, the owner was prompt and thorough in her communications.

What a wonderful place to stay during our visit to New Bern! The cottage is roomie and immaculately clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host responds quickly to any questions and self check-in was a breeze. It is a short 6 minute drive to town. The cottage has a large kitchen/eating area and a comfortable living room to relax or watch tv or play board games. A washer/dryer is available as well. The bedrooms are roomie and the beds are comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet for a good night’s sleep. Nice updated bathrooms as well. All appliances seemed brand new. It’s a lovely place to return to after a long day of sightseeing! We couldn’t have asked for more, and we highly recommend!!!

The house was really nice! The whole house was laid out really open and spacious and very comfortable and clean. Bed was really comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with all the equipment I needed to cook meals for my family. The host was very receptive to any questions and concerns I had, and communicated all info in a timely manner before and during my stay. Hope to stay again sometime!

Our host , Elizabeth was incredibly accommodating and responded to my questions very quickly. The cottage was just as listed and then some. Just beautiful and felt like home. (And It was spotless!!!!) we will def return to our little home away from home for our next trip to New Bern!!

Everything was impeccably clean! Full amenities include with absolutely every thought to detail from yard game toys to wash clothes specially for makeup removal! My husband, son and I joked we would love to pick the house up and replace our current home with it on our property in Maryland. Host constantly communicated and made everything from check in to check out efficient! Our favorite part was enjoying the fire pit out back making s'mores! Kid friendly neighborhood too!

The Cozy Cottage exceeded our expectations. We especially appreciated all of the extra, thoughtful touches that made us feel especially welcome like coffee, water and snacks. This was first VRBO stay and my friend who owns a VRBO in St. John says that you totally spoiled us! Thanks so very much.

Let’s put it this way: I didn’t want to leave. This place is homey and comfortable and has all the amenities you’d need and want. Large kitchen with an island. Stone countertops. Streaming TV setup. Washer dryer. Spacious fridge. A nice collection of books. Spacious and private back yard. Idiot-proof lock. All the comforts of a home away from home. I’d return in a heartbeat.

Lovely, clean, comfortable & well-equipped!

Cozy Cottage is delightful. The hosts obviously care about their guests' comfort and seem to have thought of everything. Great communication. Very easy check in and check out. Well-equipped kitchen, great location. Thoughtful layout, quiet neighborhood. We were there for only two nights but hope to return for a longer stay in the future. Highly recommend it!

The home was extremely clean. One of the cleanest homes we’ve stayed in. It was very well stocked and cozy. There was books to read and some puzzles and games to play. All bathrooms and facilities were up to date, spacious, and beautiful! We would definitely recommend staying here. Location to downtown New Bern was ideal. We could drive into the city within minutes to see all the popular sites. Check in was easy. Communication with the host was wonderful. We checked in late our first day due to traveling and the host had the home cool and had 5 waters already cold in the fridge for all 5 of our travelers. Such a wonderful experience.

This was our family’s second stay here and it was wonderful as always! The home is always clean and well stocked with towels and needed items. Beds are always super comfy and relaxing! Communication from the host is always easy and quick! We recommend this place to anyone we know traveling to New Bern!

This place is just like it’s described beautiful warm and welcoming. We enjoyed our time spent in New Bern NC. We will definitely visit again and we want to stay in this beautiful cottage. Everything was so clean comfortable beds, 2 full baths & half spacious kitchen , comfortable sitting area with TV , great selection of books to read. I hope to book this place again to enjoy that beautiful relaxing private backyard with the fire pit .Thanks for the coffee/creamer & water ! I will definitely book this place again !
